Location and friendly helpful staff No tea or coffee making facility in the room which made it difficult to have an early morning tea or coffee before any of the cafe's opened nearby. A kettle would have earned the hotel a better score from me.

Central Location, nice bar area Aircon not functioning properly. Very noisy due to aircon and/or other exhaust in the courtyard. Also the cleaning staff was extremely noisy from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Near to Munich downtown, excellent cleaness standards. Getting a parking place in the hotel is harder than winning the lottery, there are some parking places on the road or the only alternative is the Stachus Parking, quite expensive

Great location and welcoming staff were very helpful, The air conditioning in the room was broken and they had no room to change us too as the hotel was full so we did not get a very good sleep as the room was 27 C . All that was said was sorry, nothing we can do and when I mentioned it in the morning at checkout , just said sorry about that

Great location at the gateway of the Old Town. Although the room was small and basic, it was aesthetically pleasing, clean, comfortable and functional. Great value for money too. No bar fridge or coffee/tea facilities in the room.

The location, room design, cooling, shower, reception, and staff were all excellent. It could easily be a 10‑point hotel — if not for the disappointing ‘we have a private garage, but not for you’ experience. The hotel’s garage is far too small to justify advertising the property as offering private parking. Guests kept arriving by car expecting private parking with EV charging, because this is stated in the hotel’s description on Booking.com. Only later, in the Q&A section, it becomes clear that guests are unlikely to receive a parking spot — but most people do not read the Q&A when making a reservation. As a result, the hotel creates a negative first impression by informing guests upon arrival that the garage is not available to them. There is a good, spacious, 24‑hour Stachus underground garage nearby, priced at €45 per night for occasional users and €25 for customers with garage loyalty card (hotel quests do not have it of course, but hotel could take care about this). To turn the parking experience from negative to positive, the hotel could consider the following: a) Increase the price of the hotel’s own garage to €65 per night, equip every space with an EV socket, and include EV charging in the price. This would eliminate complexity (no apps, no extra steps — simply plug and charge) and ensure that the limited garage space is used by guests who genuinely need extra service: simple, home‑like overnight EV charging that public garages either do not offer or make too complicated. b) Negotiate a discounted rate for hotel guests who do not need EV charging at the nearby Stachus garage — for example €30 per night — in exchange for hotel directing the hotel’s car traffic there. This approach would create clarity and a smooth experience for all guests arriving by EV or non-electric cars. At present, the arrival experience for EV drivers is particularly frustrating: all four EV charging spots in the hotel garage were occupied by non‑electric cars.
