Ocean Plaza Motel

Property itself was subpar. Room was clean and well equipped. Bathroom was really small and cramped. Property itself needs some definite upkeep. Stayed at this location because it was right on ocean. Only issue we had is went to use pool and it was closed 3 hours before we were told it would close. And parking is very cramped as well. There was so.eone pulling out and because of cramping he literally damaged the front end of his car trying to get out. The exit is halfway blocked by trailers.

Don’t use this one again either

The location is great alot of places were within walking distance, the housekeeping staff did an amazing job and was very helpful. The room was a nice size and the price was great I loved the option of indoor and outdoor pools. The motel.is pretty good. I will stay here again. There was no one there to check me out I had to go to a different hotel and have to get my money mailed to me for the deposit i made. That's about it and the parking lot is very small but we made do with our big 15 passenger van. It worked out.

Our room was dirty, mirrors were covered in what looked like months of tooth paste splatter. Our toilet would only work once every 15 min if we were lucky and we had 5 people staying with us. One window did not have a curtain so we were blinded by light early.

Linens were new and fresh, fresh paint, new carpet and everything worked flawlessly..(TV, water, AC...) The refrigerator was clean, the stove was clean and worked well, and there were pans to use since i forgot mine! The staff was hardworking, diligently cleaning, and friendly and helpful when i asked things. Bed was soft, and the area was 'low' buzz at night...no loud disturbances. All the facilities were working and clean, the parking was well lit and felt very safe. Totally enjoyed this place, and my stay was great!

It was near to the sea

My only complaint will be about the chain link fence. ( I always backed into my spot. The day we were leaving and packing our car I closed the hatch and as I turned I caught my arm on a wire at the top of the fence and being senior I have hemophilia which is thin skin on my arms and I bruise easily and I bleed easily. So I tore a nice little chunk into my arm.) Maybe send maintenance with pliers and bend the wire ends away from the walking area.. at least it was our last day and I didn't have to suffer the salty water and sand on the beach ⛱️..

The indoor pool has a great location but is not maintained on a daily basis the building in general is not maintained properly the rooms could get an upgrade. The location of this facility is great and just a painting job could help a lot

The room was reasonably clean, but had a musty smell, probably caused by the old carpeting in the room. The elevator was gross. Pools were ok. This is an old hotel and could use some upgrades. We had a major problem the first night. A couple of renters started loudly arguing outside our unit at 2:30 AM and this went on for over 1 1/2 hours. They were banging doors and screaming at each other. It took two calls to security before things quieted down. We were too shook up to sleep after. The next day we requested to be moved to a different room and they obliged us. We would never stay here again

The room was great very clean. How ever outside just walking around the hotel to go to our room and pool was nasty. Trash and just gross stuff everywhere. Our first night was terrible all around us was screaming and cussing and loud music kept my kids and us up all night. We heard threats and everything else. Second night was great it was quite. The beds and pillows are not comfy at all all of our bodies hurt after sleeping in them for two nights. The front desk lady acted like she had never seen kids before. We walked in and my 6 and 2 year old got excited to see a pirate in the corner they didnt scream or jump up and down they just got excited and she acted like it ruined her day. Our second day there was this lady who was with house keeping she came to us and knocked lightly and asked if we were okay and if we needed anything I told her no and she was so sweet and said please enjoy your stay. She was very soft spoken i wish I could've gotten her name as she needs a raise! All the other house keepers were someone I would fire as they were loud and cussing playing nasty music very loudly of course it was the younger ones doing it. We would stay again over all.

It was quite mostly The room was very poor condition, the sliding door to the balcony was broken. The tv remote wouldn’t work the tv. The burners on the stove shocked us when we used them. The elevators were very hard to access, and didn’t even go to every floor. The floors were very dirty in the rooms and the air was freezing cold right beside it but not cool in the rest of the room. There is no beach access once the pool is closed for the night without having to jump over fences. There were needles exposed right outside of the pool area.
