The property was obviously being renovated and had a strong smell of paint in the lobby and common area. Can't hold that against them. Room was great and staff was friendly and very helpful, even offering me a toothbrush when I asked if they had any for sale.
-
It is somewhat rundown. Needs a major remodel. We only needed one night, so it was okay.
-
location was great- local to where we were visiting the room wasnt the cleanest. water stains on wall and ceiling, microwave had food cooked into the plate, fridge had stains left at the bottom. shower curtain had stains/mold. the chairs for table were broken and most of the electric outlets were so loose that nothing stayed plugged in. AC wasnt the cleanest looking inside. The side door to get into building was completely unlocked and actually barely closed.

Very poor

Superb

Not alot of amenities but the room was clean and the bed comfortable. The hallways need to be spruced up and the outside landscaping would help with curb appeal. Location was great. Mysic Village and Aquarium close and getting into the seaport or on to 95 easy.
-
The exterior building and grounds were poorly maintained .
-
there was actually poop on the toilet seat in my room

Conveniently off exit 90 and I95. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms are tired and need updating

Property is not maintained properly. Peeling paint, broken siding, broken lock on side door so anyone could enter without a key, broken outdoor security camera (cord was clearly cut), outlets that don’t work, tub that wouldn’t drain so we had to change rooms in the middle of our stay, missing blackout shade, missing microwave, AC unit leaked water all over the floor, etc. Also no elevator to second floor was not clearly stated when we made the reservation.

Bad

A car is a must in this area. Don't judge the outside grounds because when we first pulled up we thought it was deserted/abandoned. It was the middle of the week so there were hardly any cars in the parking lot. The attached structure is closed and its grounds are not well kept. Luckily the room was very nice. And when the staff was at the desk they were helpful.

The property was in very poor shape, smelled like mildew throughout. The room had only one outlet across from the bed. The exterior doors did not lock, so the room key reminded people to deadbolt their room doors.
-
Staff was nice. Place is under renovation. No pool. Probably will be a nice hotel when complete. Probably should not be open in current state but it is the only affordable option for Mystic.
-
Room was clean and served its purpose on a short trip. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The exterior of the building certainly needs refreshing and it would not be rare to think this place is actually closed. Regardless we had a nice time here thank you.

Don’t make the same mistake and book this hotel.
-
The hotel is centrally located, only minutes away from all major attractions. The room has pretty much everything we need. I just feel the the property looks like needing some major renovations.

We pulled in to see the police leaving, and had a working lady hanging out when we parked. The railings on the stairs are held together with electrical tape. The carpet was coming up in our room with every step. There is no elevator so we carried our stroller and everything up the stairs after staff said we could not get a first floor room; staff at the desk said the manager told him no. $200 a night for this place is absurd, even in this economy. I have stayed at nicer RedRoofs.

The lobby smelled like mildew so we were a bit concerned, but our room was clean and comfortable. The retractable clothesline in the shower was a nice feature for wet bathing suits being near the beach. The indoor pool was closed and it was unclear if they plan to bring it back in the future.

They don’t have breakfast or a pool, booking.com mislead us Hallways smelled damp
