Spark by Hilton Mystic Groton

Room was alright- facility seems to be an older hotel chain that was bought out. Breakfast was alright- ran out of eggs our second morning but was better than the advertised bagel array. Didn’t expect anything fancy and didn’t get anything more than we thought or paid for. Really worked well for us.

Clean room with comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Very nice staff at reception and great coffee in the morning. Really enjoyed my stay.

Mattresses were beyond firm. Room was small and cramped for the price. No balcony or windows that open which stinks in warmer weather. No space in room for two people sit. Hotel seemed well suited for solo corporate types on working trips versus than for vacationers visiting the region. Breakfast area was nice and pleasant. Hotel employees were very nice. Not a bad place. Just not a fun place.

We had issues with our door in room 259. It was hard to open and close that door. I did not inform the hotel about the issue as I figured out a way to open and close the door while I was there. However, it was a bit of a challenge to open and close that door.

The hallways and room smelled of feet. The breakfast wasn’t great, only had one time as I knew I wouldn’t eat it again. The room felt small and the bathroom was cramped. The staff were friendly. Didn’t use pool.

The location was accommodating.

It was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. They supplied hygiene products that were good too. The bagel bar was generic bagged bagels I could have gotten from the grocery store. The doors were super loud when you closed them and when people in adjacent rooms closed their doors it sounded like they were coming through our door. Breakfast also ran out, if you didn't get there early, you missed on breakfast.

It’s ok. We had a room the was away from amenities and had to walk a ways. No ice bucket in room, you had to go back to the desk to get one. Nothing was close to the room we had. Not impressed

The staff is really friendly. Very clean . The breakfast I feel was not very good. We ended up going out to breakfast.

The hotel is like a motel, old and run down. Breakfast was nothing special. Rooms only made up every other day, not everyday. I would expect to pay less for a stay in this hotel.

Rooms were very clean, great climate control and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was great too.

The hotel is simple but perfect for a family stay. Breakfast has many options, pool is clean and spacious, and it’s centrally located.
