We had an excellent stay at the Courtyard in Nagano, which is very conveniently located near the train station. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our entire visit. During check-in, another guest was accidentally assisted before us, but the staff quickly realized the mistake, apologized sincerely, and handled the situation with great professionalism. Check-out was quick and easy, and our room was surprisingly spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. We would gladly return here when visiting Nagano again!

Perfect location! So close to Nagano Station!

Great location! Bathtub was not secure to the floor or wall. It moved around while showering. Bed/pillows/comforter was not comfortable, but overall good value for money.

Pros: Excellent location. 5 minute walk from JR NAGANO Station. 7-11 is next door. Although I did not interact much with front desk staff except for check in and check out, I can say their customer service is great. Cons: Hotel fixtures in the room need updating- sink faucet, bath shower, lamp switch, bidet. All of the fixtures were from 20 yrs ago. Leak stain in the bathroom floor by the sink and toilet. There is no coin operated laundry in this hotel. But the front desk staff will tell you where the nearest one is located- about 15 minute walk from the hotel. Elevator smells like cigarette smoke.

V had dinner both days Jain vegetarian Japanese food was wonderful n lady I think owner of the restaurant was very good host. V never had breakfast. Location of hotel is very good opposite to station . Staff of hotel very helpful n nice. Bathrooms need latest aminities

NOT a major inconvenience or flaw : toiled is dated (not the push button, automated type) and does not have heating on the seat. Prepare yourself for a bit of a shock on cold days/nights. LOL!

the room looks old and they used central air conditioning (maybe only in winter) so it's quite difficult to set the room temperature as we want
