lobby area could use a good sweeping.

For this hotel generally the location, price and room is good. The only downside is the service from the front counter, it seems that the morning shift girl workers is just a part time workers, not informative and not approachable. And the afternoon shift girl required extra training it seems she's a new staff there. Long story short this girl who looks like the cute pink teddy tried to cover up her mistakes by lying. First, she forget to fulfill the request by sending extra bath towel to my room. Secondly, she forget to mention to me about the free onsen for the hotel guest. She tries to cover up by saying our room package do not have the onsen included which is false! Her senior is beside that's why I think she's lying for the sake of not getting scolded and assess. I've check with my USA booking agent and they have confirmed that it's indeed included. Although there will be no impact after this post review. At least future visitors will be aware of it Onsen is free for all hotel guest!

cleanliness of the front area outside around the hotel, not a welcomomg area, front reception area was not welcoming. The room and hallway were clean, however.

Easy check in and check out, the staff were extremely nice

Great location. Right across the street from Nagano station. The room was comfortable and the staff was nice. The only that that I didn't like was the fact that I couldn't use the public bath because I have a tattoo.

.Beds were comfortable. amenities, etc. first staff person was very welcoming, when we were checking out the next lady wasn't too welcoming, very stand offish.

Stay itself was nice and convenient.

Location is good but no parking is available, so if coming by car, it's a bit tricky to find a spot to unload the luggages. Luckily for us, we arrived at night time and was able to unload the car at the small alleyway. The hotel wasn't able to provide 2 rooms close to each other. One room was on level 5 and another was on level 8. The one on level 8 wasn't able to be locked. We told the staff about this and he simply said that there is nothing he could do. No other non-smoking room was available, so we had to sleep with one of the rooms only secured with the chain.

Close to train station. Taxi service was limited, apps did not allow reservation, but managed to get one. The train station to the White Ring arena was 1 hour away, while drive was 22 min. Was not able to see bus schedule. The male attendant at the counter was so helpful with calling taxis for us, so thank you.

Location near the train station is why we booked this. The public bath with sauna was really nice and clean which made up for the bad room. We booked for 2 people in a double room but the bed was tiny and it seemed like it was only intended for a single occupant as we were only given 1 towel, 1 bath robe, 1 toothbrush etc. The bed was also incredibly squishy in a bad way so anytime one of us moved the other person was launched. It was not suitable for 2 people.
