Best Western Plus Marina Gateway Hotel

Loved my stay always choose staying here

Also they said I was supposed to get a text after check in from a person to see how everything was and for express check out- I didn't receive any texts, had to check-out normally. The hot tub was disgusting - it was green and had a bunch of dead flies and gross foam whenever you turned it on - it seems like it wasn't cleaned for a while. And to top it off, they were doing construction in the early morning - this was a WEEKEND, too. I DO NOT recommend this place.

Professional Staff and clean property/room!

Welcoming front desk. Clean property . No breakfast on site,but a restaurant about 100 feet away you can get meals really nice.

The pool is too nice it’s salt water so it’s super refreshing

Did not meet the request for handicap person. No room needs. Put us on the third floor. Elevator went out not once but twice. One legged person being asked to go up and down three flights of stairs. REALLY!! Staff did nothing. Then a limousine service parked in the handicap parking spot to pick up. They have a circular driveway for that stuff.

Rooms were clean, property was clean. Staff was friendly. I did not like them speaking Spanish to each other when guests were around. That to me is disrespectful as this is America and the language is English. Parking was an issue. Their lot needs to be blocked off from restaurant users. They have their own lots to park in. Had to move our car from their lot to hotel lot after restaurant closed. Should not have to do this. Unfortunately staff thought it was acceptable.

A/c did not work. Told front desk. Seemed annoyed and very inconvenienced. Came out and “fixed it”. It was not fixed. Sweated all night when the weather outside was high 60’s. Took our two dogs and booked the pets room. The room smelled really funky. It was hard to adjust. Would not stay again. Bathroom was clean. The room was nicely stocked. Check in and out was easy

The overall stay was great. But the nearby restaurants were playing loud music until midnight.

Simple, clean and great location. No breakfast Included but they did have coffee in the lobby.

Air condition is loud. Anything else is good.
