Rent a Room - Residence Meslay

Excellent shower. Nice range and oven. Bed large enough for two. Almost no cookware. Some sort of nightstands bedside would be nice. Bottom bed sheet should be larger. We left some. Better clothes hangars. Instructions for the appliances including the washing machines. Defrost the refrigerator.

Great locations and easy access. Clean with everything promised in the description. It was extremely hot that week, air conditioners began to leak water

Excellent location in the 3rd arrondissement, on a quiet street. Good communication with the host and simple check-in/check-out. For the price paid, this was a very good base for a short family stay, with a comfy sofa bed for two children and enough facilities to do simple cooking.

Location Pillows not good. Bedside light flashes, bathroom mirror light can’t turn on. Strange layout.

The apartment is very well organised. There are one bedroom and one living room. All dishes in the kitchen were extremely dirty. The bathroom was affected by mold, in addition, the shower is very old covered with plaque and almost does not work. In

The location was good - close to metro, cafe/bakery and walkable. Other reviews have shared concerns about the neighborhood but we felt safe and had no issues. The staff was extremely unprofessional. I have avoided writing this review for 2 weeks because I didn’t want to ruin the rest of my trip by reliving it and dealing with whatever their reply would be: After a misunderstanding about whether or not I had booked an airport pickup with them (they thought it was confirmed, I thought it wasn’t confirmed, and I booked and paid another pickup service separately through Booking.com) they sent a driver to the airport who got very nasty with me when he realized I was going to take the ride I had already paid for, the staff reached out via chat on Booking.com and scolded me before demanding 50 euros as compensation. I said I would contest the charge and we could let a 3rd party decide who was responsible. They then told me the code they had provided for me to access the property had been deactivated and that my reservation was canceled and wouldn’t be refunded. This was happening as I was literally on the way to the property after traveling with 2 children and 2 elderly folks for over 13 hours. I paid the 50 euro to not lose the 800 euro I spent on the reservation and have to find somewhere else to sleep. I can’t believe Booking.com would allow this kind of behavior. Screenshots below. Looking back, I genuinely think it was a misunderstanding on both parts and I can see how I contributed to the confusion. That being said, there was no accountability on their part and the way they treated me was so inappropriate I can’t believe they’re in the hospitality business. Truly awful.

The location and the confort at this flat is excellent! The staff is always ready to help you and attending you very operative in online per whatsapp or personally! the only one thing that was unpleasant (but I guess it is a general problem of most flats in Paris!) - the walls are very thin that you hear everything from your neighbors! you have the impression you are living with! As morning allarm, conversations = everything! But I guess it is depending of the rooms! Other way - I can say, the equipment in the flat is great for the great business or pleasure stay in Paris!

Nothing, management service was appalling. Check in details were not provided in time for the arrival, manager was not cooperative, had to find alternative accommodation for the 1st night. The place was clean with no care given - bedsheets not the right size, shower head not in working order.

I like the neighborhood the apartment was located. Unfortunately, the apartment is very small, but the bathroom is adequate. There are three flight of stairs and they can be narrow at times.

The location is perfect if you desire to stay within the city center. Although, door codes maybe confusing check in was smooth and host was very flexible allowing us to check in earlier. The flat was bright. Host was very helpful. Don’t get fooled by nice pictures, you will be disappointed. Very small apartment, as well as the bathroom, uncomfortable for 4 people. Bedroom has no sun light at all. Kitchen facilities were extremely poor. The wasn’t a kitchen knife, just a bread knife, no ladle, not enough plates and cups. We stayed 4 nights and it was uncomfortable during our stay. Bed sheets need to be changed, not just washed, same for towels - worn out. The blankets were stained with either blood or urine or some other liquid… Poor cleaning, upon check in flat needed a good cleaning. Overall, slightly satisfied as I had to book it a day before check in as there were no other options. Also, I read other comments before, so all responsibilities are on me. I expected that landlord payed attention to the previous feedback, but seems like they were ignored.
