Holiday Inn New York City - Times Square by IHG

Overall the stay was good. The elevator was slow and extremely small and if you’re looking close enough, you can see that the finishes on the room were either rushed or cheaply done. However, the room was clean but pretty small and staff was very friendly.

The rooms were as small as I’ve ever seen. The Hotel is not in the best area and made you feel uncomfortable going and coming. Will definitely never stay there again!

The hotel was clean, every single member of the staff is and was incredibly kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

The rooms was good and the inside of the building. The drug and hanging out in front of the entrance is not a great look. It smell and I didn’t feel safe that you let people hang out in the front. My grandchild was with me and she was scared. The entrance should be private for guest only

There was some sort of flood on our floor. X3 loud machines outside room, gone next day but were extremely noisy

Close to train station and Madison square garden Lots of people hanging around outside but they had security at the door. And you have to have a card to enter the hotel and elevators

I liked the location of the hotel and the warm attitude of the staff. There were only two elevators for 36 floors and it was so cramped that you had to wait a long time for the elevator.

The only problem inside hotel was the fact there were 36 floors with 8 rooms on each floor with TWO elevator cars!!! Rush hour was a nightmare of “wait”!! The other issue is the property in front of hotel . It’s an area you have to walk thru to get into hotel. The area is a spot where homeless and hooligans use as a resting place. It’s definitely off putting.

The location Staff and service

Staff and location were great! Room was clean and bedding comfortable.

They have failed to provide me with an invoice and have not responded to either my messages or Booking.com's messages. This lack of communication has caused me significant inconvenience and frustration.

The view was pretty There are only two elevators. And most the time one didn’t work. Which left one elevator for 36 floors. I ended up using the stairs to go to my room on the 35th floor because I didn’t feel safe in the lobby. The courtyard area was full of homeless people where, as a lady walking outside felt extremely unsafe when I was alone. I had many comments and approaches made to me by men outside of the hotel in the courtyard area. The bed was lumpy. Not at all like the other Holiday Inn’s that I’ve stayed in. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling down. I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all.

Location next to Penn Station Long waiting time for the elevator. Room smelled of foot odor.

The location All the homeless people in the front of the hotel and also the hallways were super hot.

Rooms are small but location is fantastic. Elevators are small and slow but staff was great. We’d stay again.
