Umbrella Hotel

Every evening that I went to the room, my key didn’t work. I kept having to go back downstairs to have the key reprogrammed. That was quick and easy, thankfully. Room was pretty clean. (Way better looking than you’d expect given the outside are being the Bronx.) Holes in the shower walls and tub floor. Weed smell kept wafting in from somewhere. Idk. The walls are thin. You could hear your neighbors breathing. Thankfully everyone seemed to calm down by about 10pm. Also, my flight got delayed. Hotels.com tried to get in contact with the hotel to see about getting my a refund for the night I missed. Hotels.com said the hotel just never responded to them. Like no email back, didn’t answer the phone, nothing. Smh. This place made me appreciate Hiltons and the like. I wouldn’t willingly repeat my stay here.

Easy check-in process. Comfortable clean rooms.

Bed was comfortable and clean. AC working, large TV. Smelled like someone smoked inside and I asked for a non smoking room.?

Clise to all transportations. smell ouder in air not good i went and bought lysol disinfect room. Frig a plus they microwave in room then be #1.

Front desk lady did not look happy to be working. No customer service. Previous guest hairs on beds. Socks dirty from room floor. Bathroom shower head didn’t work. Had to use a bucket to shower myself using bath faucet. Security guard was very helpful and friendly. Evening front desk man very friendly. Room decor was really nice. I like the wall decor and neon lights. One night stay was okay. More than 2 maybe not. Good location, easy to find. Close to other things.

Nothing I could not sleep, the lights were flickering, I could hear cop cars and screaming. Only grace was they allowed us to park in front of the hotel for a charge . The bathroom shower did not work, it was dirty, bath room lights were flickering. I was scared the door know was broken. I could hear screaming

I do not recommend staying at this hotel. The room was very dirty, including the shower, which did not appear to have been properly cleaned. The Wi-Fi did not work during my stay, and the TV constantly paused and buffered, making it difficult to watch anything. The beds were very squeaky and uncomfortable, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. To make matters worse, I woke up with what appeared to be a bug bite after sleeping in the bed. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Cleanliness, comfort, and basic amenities were all below expectations. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to others. Nothing

I guess you don't get much in a city. The first room I was in smelled of tobacco. There no face cloth provided. The elevator was very slow to arrive. I was on the 4th floor. I wound up taking the stairs. Finally the card key stopped working. The master key didn't work either. They gave me a different room. Not much better but it was on the 1st floor! It didn't smell of tobacco. I did get a wash cloth but no top sheet on the bed. It's decor was quite odd. Hard to describe. No amenities like in room coffee service. No coffee in the hotel. I had to ask for a chair. Apparently no daily maid service.
