Key West Inn - Newport News

The bed was not too comfortable. The towels were pretty thin. The room was clean. The A/C was fantastic. The shower water pressure was great. Pretty quiet & parking lot looked safe.

The location has a sonic in your parking lot. People not staying at the hotel were hanging out and smoking on the front porches all night

We needed a budget-friendly hotel for a family weekend to the beach and this hotel was a winner! It’s a basic, no-frills hotel but clean and safe. The staff were friendly and there was a free breakfast of muffins, cereal, juice and coffee every morning along with a mini fridge and microwave in the room. For the price point, it was great!

The property was ok located next to Sonic which made to place a decent place to stay. That it had roaches in two rooms that I knew of.

The room was decent for the price, but I asked for an extra pillow & they wouldn’t give me another. Location is perfect; you get what ya paid for.

It was quiet

My reservation was cancelled by the staff since I arrived a few hours beyond the 3pm check in time. The owner refused to assist us, saying he was unable to charge my credit card for the stay prior to arrival so he cancelled the reservation. I was not offered another reservation when he had availability. Besides the room was reserved without a credit card because one was not required. I attempted to explain this to the owner which refused to listen.
