Hotel De La Mer

Location was perfect, room was set up with the kids beds made! View was great of the square. Was a bit run down and shower was very small. The square was very noisy, especially the night France won against Morocco. But that isn’t the fault of the hotel.

You can't beat the location. The staff are very helpful and friendly, often around for extended hours. Everything is very clean and tidy. Coffee and tea in the room. TV and internet works. You can't ask for much more. Thank you vert much Hotel De La Mer!

Loved the location. The man who worked at the front desk for most of our stay was not very friendly. Overall customer service could be improved.

A little dated

The outside location. Dirty entrance, no one available, no lift up to the actual rooms, lots of steps, never mentioned. Nothing reflected the imagery or view. It was unmistakably one of the worst locations. The customer service rep was very rude. This was a total disaster.

Location Dangerous stairs

This hotel is in a great location, next to the Fontaine du Soleil and a quick walk to the Old Town. The rooms are clean and well maintained. We only stayed one night and that was perfect for this location. The rooms are extremely small (two of us barely fit in with our luggage) and the shower was so tiny that you couldn’t turn around. Also, while they do serve breakfast, you have to notify them the prior evening, which was never explained to us and so we missed out.

The staff was great and the location was great. It was really close to the tram and beaches and many good places to eat. The room itself was adequate size for one person. I wouldn't have been comfortable if there were 2 people staying in the room. The bathroom was really really small. The shower was small. There wasn't space in the shower to put shampoo, soap, or anything. There wasn't adequate space between the shower, wall and toilet. A large person might not fit on the toilet. I didn't think there was air conditioning for a few days and it was hot. I couldn't get the remote to turn on the air conditioning, only a fan. Finally, after a few days, the cleaning person turned it on. It would have been nice to know this.

Great location! My room was bright and comfortable with great air conditioning. I have a lot of hair and the hair dryers attached to the wall don’t work well for me.
