Room was still dirty when I checked in (food on the floor, hair on the chair and in the shower). But the bar staff was great!

It is great that rooms come with kitchen, like studio apartment. Very clean and cozy. The breakfast on the third day was a little scarce.

The complementary breakfast was great. The proximity to the train station was nice just 8 minute walk. Parking is sparse

The hotel was overbooked and my reservation wasn’t honored. I was made to wait over an hour to be provided with two room options that didn’t meet the reservation details. I had to stay in a smaller room and was promised a refund. I called back twice and was given different information and ultimately told they couldn’t refund me but could give me points. I disputed the charge with my credit card but hasn’t been resolved.

This is the first hotel that has actually impressed me. 10/10 would stay here again

Location Bait and switched on the room. Reserved a king room and got a single queen bed. Also, overbooked hotel

I booked the rooms almost a year in advance through booking service. On July 28th, when I went to check in, the front desk staff told me that the hotel had sold the rooms I had booked. I had booked one King-size roomand one One-Bedroom room; they gave me two King-size rooms. Since we came here by car to attend the concert, there was no better option. Moreover, we were already very tired, so we had to accept it. However, the hotel charged us based on the One-Bedroom rate. We felt that the rooms were too small – probably not enough for living. So, on the second night, the front desk staff helped us get an additional room. The next day at noon, we went to the front desk and told them that we didn’t need to add any more rooms, because it was only for one night, and everyone was tired and didn’t want to move rooms. We asked to have the reservation canceled. The manager repeatedly said that I had booked the third room through a third-party platform, and no refund would be given. I explained that I booked the rooms through the hotel front deskkk. This issue caused us to spend nearly an hour dealing with the situation. In the end, the hotel couldn’t provide any proof of my reservation, and the manager admitted that they made a mistake. All this back-and-forth made us feel very unhappy.

It was an awkward entrance but once we figured out the room situation (room was delayed an hour) we fully enjoyed the room. We got a king

Everyone is friendly and the room was spacious and incredibly clean. It looks as if it was remodeled recently. No dislikes. It was great.

Except for the waste it was fantastic save the wasted food and give it to the needy

It was very clean and location was good. The units come with kitchen. Bigger than most hotels. It is safer location in downtown Oakland
