Es una casa antigua adaptada con hotel en pleno centro de Oaxaca, muy linda, muy tranquila y con buenas instalaciones en general El desayuno solamente es continental y deja mucho crecer, pero no es caro agregarle cosas

The location was perfect, in walking distance of the historic area of Oaxaca. The staff were really friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean and everything went as expected. The only thing I didn't like was the overall atmosphere of the room. The lightbulbs were really bright and blue and the door felt a little janky. It just didn't have a cozy feeling.

Everyone was lovely. Decided I want to live there. If only. Location perfect.

Said it had parking but it was paid public parking, also said it had breakfast we left early so we didn't check it out but they also didn't say anything so not sure if that's true or not.. Also in the room we had the door is like a opaque glass that alot of light comes in and you can't cover it so I didn't sleep well, the lighting in the room is white light bulbs which gives me a headache and they don't have a full length mirror Which kinda sucks for getting ready to go out..

The lady working there in the morning and cleaning the rooms is a sweetheart. It was quiet at night and the beds were comfortable. Deceptive rooms. They looked nothing like the photos. We were given a very rudimentary room. The bathroom hanger is a hazard. The room was extremely basic, tight, and dark, and this has been the most expensive hotel of our stay so far. The bathroom was leaking. Very poor value for money, and we wouldn’t recommend it or go back. We checked out the following day. You can see the photos for yourselves.

Staff was always responsive and helpful; even my husband, whose Spanish is limited, had no issues communicating with staff about immediate needs. I also grew to really love the location, which, while only a short walk from Centro, was far enough away to provide for quiet and restful nights. Sometimes, the sound carried from the courtyard late at night, but in general, most guests were respectful of the quiet night environment of the hotel.

Service was fine. No parking at the hotel and looking where to park at the streets is very hard in Oaxaca, fortunately they had an agreement with a parking lot but it is one block away from the hotel. If you want to use your car at a time the parking lot is close you have to make everything to make it happen, from openning the place to closing it. Pictures from the web are not alike to the real place, when you arrive you can tell they were well edited. Spaces look bigger, it is clean but there is a notable important lack of mantainance in every spot of the place. For the price you will probably a better place to stay.

Hotel was a 2 star experience. Very old and in need of upkeep. Furniture was very old and not comfortable. It seems that whomever owns the hotel doesn't do much to improve it. It was satisfactory, but not good.

Location was good. Front desk personnel was kind but they only spoke Spanish and we only spoke English. This made it difficult to let them know we had no hot water. Hotel was well fortified and not noisy! Security seemed effective after hours. We enjoyed the roof top deck at sunset. Paid for beers. Honor system! No breakfast offered. We had no HOT water for 2 nights. Moved to an upstairs room with hot water for the next 2 nights. Our friend's upstairs room had hot water the whole stay so we should have been moved upstairs before I requested it. We were not offered any type monetary adjustment. I think we were over charged for our stay for the two rooms we reserved. When we checked out, I think we paid for both rooms. Then our friend also paid for his room. I plan to pursue a refund with Booking.com about this... SEE ABOVE.

Location to explore the city is good. Quiet at night. Rooftop patio was nice to have. Rented the apartment because it had a kitchen but it was useless because it has almost no dishes/cookware. No garbage can in kitchen and nothing supplied to clean the dishes that you might use. Boiling an egg is about all you can do. You could sign your name in the dust on top of the toaster oven. No drinking water provided in room - even a couple of small bottles would be expected. Beds were hard and you can feel all the springs through it. Way overpriced for what you get. Poor value.

Breakfast was Okay, nothing special. There could have been more of a selection, possibly some pastries.

The roof terrace is fantastic – better when nobody else is there. It’s a great neighbourhood and we ate tlayudas at the nearby Doña Marta’s restaurant twice. We upgraded to a bigger room with a kitchen and enormous bathroom, which was fun. The room we were offered initially was quite small and dark, so we moved.

The hotel was very clean and had cool architectural features. The staff were all friendly and welcoming! Breakfast was authentic and made fresh every day. The location is outstanding! We walked everywhere with tons of restaurants very close by as well as being in the historic district! Definitely recommend staying here! One suggestion that would make the hotel perfect would be to have a self-serve coffee station available to guests that are up earlier than breakfast time, which is generally served around 8:30am at the earliest.

The staff were really helpful and friendly (but did not speak English so please be aware if you do not speak any Spanish). Really accommodating with the breakfast (i.e. timing the breakfast to suit you as the hot option is cooked fresh) though the breakfast was basic. This comprised of Guava fruit with toast and jam plus scrambled eggs with ham with optional tortilla and, black coffee. They cleaned the room to a high standard. The aircon was excellent and the room was spacious and with a good layout. There were spaces outside the room to relax plus a terrace with a lovely view of the city. The breakfast was basic, it would be good to have an option of different hot drinks and the toast was very hard (not fresh but shop brought).
