Hotel La Casona del Llano

Pretty, historic casona across from Parque Llano. Large dining area with nice food options. Lovely interior garden. Quiet. Hot water for shower takes 8 minutes to arrive, toilet did not flush well, safe too small & had to request hangers. Lighting quite old. Bathrooms very small. It was a bit far from the center of the city but close to nice restaurants.

Good location, clean, friendly & helpful staff, good food at its restaurant. Good value. Not luxurious but certainly above average. On a busy street but across a large park.

It's a great location right on El Llano and the inner courtyard is beautiful. The restaurant is also very good and quite convenient.

What I liked most is that it has a garden and the old building at the Lobby area. The location is also quite good, a 7 minute walk to the Santo Domingo Church. They could renovate the rooms, they are in good shape but need an extra to be above average. Also the rooms that are on the back side of the hotel need to be better integrated into the rest of hotel.

Excellent location right next to a great public square in Oaxaca. Beautiful hotel Extremely dated rooms. Double beds very narrow and short in length.

Restaurant staff and front desk staff were great.. The internet was very slow. The air conditioner and tv were not working

I truly enjoyed staying at La Casona del Llano. The location was perfect, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, the bed very comfortable, the hotel was very clean, and the free wifi worked very well. It is a great value for the price. It exceeded my expectation in every way. I will stay there again when I return to Oaxaca. I cannot think of any negative aspects to point out.

It was reasonable close to the dentist. The motel rooms behind the historic home were slightly dated, but were absolutely fine and impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed. The neighborhood felt very safe. The park across the street a coffee shop a block away were very nice. All doors closed with a loud bang. Dining Room in the historic home portion was very nice but street traffic noise was very loud at times. It is not in the tourist zone downtown with many restaurants and markets.

Staff is great! Room 28 does not get WiFi signal. Hotel is noisy across the street from park.

Close to local attractions , very clean and quite place to sleep. Bed could be comfortable by updating.

Only ate breakfast once at hotel. Good food and service. Hotel has quiet courtyard. Cleaning staff were very good. Previewed three rooms with king beds and all were less than adequate. No chairs in courtyard for relaxing.

Location was amazing, stuff was very nice. No hot water and the AC was broken in our room. In general the rooms were pretty run down.

the location is great. the classic old building and garden very pleasant they lock up the compound at an early hour, be forewarned if you plan to come home late.
