Grand Fiesta Americana Oaxaca

The property was lovely. It was built down instead of built up, so there’s a very beautiful earthen atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel felt secure and safe. The flooring in the hotel room bathrooms, and the pool could be very slippery when wet, but this was a minor aspect.

Location, safe, clean, staff was great Overall, the stay was fine, but the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. It was difficult to get a good night’s sleep. A comfortable bed is one of the most important parts of a hotel stay, so this was disappointing. I hope the hotel considers replacing or upgrading the mattresses, as it would greatly improve the guest experience.

The breakfast buffet had everything. The ancestral massage was worth the trip to Oaxaca. Club was closed a lot of the time but it didn't matter. Everyone was so cheerful. They seemed to push more expensive transit options. Not much of a view except to interior areas, but they were well designed.

Everything but the price Spa wasn't hot. Gym was minimal

An adequate Breakfast and a wonderful lounge with Nephthyl being an outstanding asset to the lounge. He was very attentive and helpful. We would certainly return. What's not to like?

Service; food; central; Abit pricey; hot tub in pool area is not hot, so it wasn't therapeutic. Also, the sinks in the bathrooms took awhile to get hot.

Loved the rooms the pool. Really liked that late afternnon service to organize the room was excellent they even arranged ourr daughters dolls. Such a nice touch Loved it all. If you had a Location close to zocalo would even be beter than great

Great staff. The location was within walking distance of the historic center and lots of interesting neighborhoods and parks. The room was very quiet and clean. The bed was a bit on the firm side.

walking distance to many city center sites. Safe and across from a lovely park where there is family festivities almost every night, but not loud or noisy. A little too pricey, for more luxurious rooms, for Mexico currency

AMAZING STAFF, THEY ARE WONDERFUL. Everything was perfect. The beds are on the small side if you use one for two persons, but everything was perfect. Cannot say anything wrong about this hotel.

It was in a good location. The architectural style was pretty. The staff were friendly and the service was outstanding. The breakfast buffet and the evening buffet in the grand club for the rewards program was rather limited especially for vegetarians. Also there was a problem with receiving English channels in the room. We were getting only Fox News.

Location was incredible. Downtown Oaxaca and short walk to the Templo de Domingo and surrounding restaurants, bars and shopping.

Everything. Location, staff, food and especially concierge service. They bent over back to do what we asked. There was never a “no” anytime we asked for anything from restaurant reservations, to car hire, suggestions, even packing our gifts we bought in a nice box. If you can afford it, it will be a dream stay in Oaxaca. Will return at some point. Can’t think of anything
