Dormio Gasthof Höllwirt

We really enjoyed our stay in Obertraun. A beautiful village, with the resort right at the lake. We had booked for the Hoellenwirt, a short walk from the resort. We were upgraded to a room in the resort and we spend a lovely night there. Thank you!

The site is 700 meter away from train station. And the recieptionist table is different buliding which is 300 meter away from train station. It is 180 degree apart each other.

Nothing There was no staff available.it was under renovation and we had to sleep in the scary property without a single person available in the entire building.

Very good

Check-in and room are in two completely different places, about a 10-minute by walk. The room is a suite with a washroom and bathroom. It is large and very clean. Breakfast is perfect, everything is fresh. Hotel is situated in a silent, peaceful place. The workers in reception are very kind and helpful. It was not nice difference between accommodation and reception.

Staff excellent The issue I had was that I thought I had booked the resort not the hostel at the other end of town. It also said I had a balcony overlooking the mountains. Instead I had no balcony and overlooked the police station. Wifi didn’t work this was an a knowledged problem. 16min walk to and from the resort.

Breakfast in the main resort was the only good thing about our stay with Dormio, although the lady in charge of breakfast doesn't seem to like people nor dogs... Our accommodation was outside of the resort in, what must've been a lovely place many many years ago, but is now falling apart, and should not have been let for no money let alone for £90 per night... We were given one bed apartment, no air condition, one fan that barely spins, bedroom door to balcony stuck and can't be open, while other two balcony doors can't be locked, and anyone could climb that balcony... Wi-fi was non existent, toilet/bathroom was tiny and unusable, has no window, nor air in it, and everything was so dirty, covered with dust and grease and hair and cobwebs, balcony disgusting - there's no way anyone cleaned that apartment for months let alone before our arrival... The only thing that was done right - someone's put the clean sheets on for us, and couple of clean towels... With the worst stay of our lives we had to complain to the manager, and he did refund us half the money, although I have to stay dog owners beware - they charge £39 for dog per night, non-negotiable! We never paid more than £20 per night anywhere in Europe... Daylight robbery!

The reception employees were friendly, it is nice location. Otherwise only negatives. On reception check in they were polite, explained us that in pre-check email was mistake and there wasn't equipment for cooking, ok (it said in the house which meant in other accomodations) my first dissapointment. In the Gasthof was mess even though it should be cleaned, fridge was hardly usable after cleaning ourselves. Wi-fi signal was dreadfull. Equipment was old, which is no problem for me, if it was cleaned and functional (the ventilation on toilet could we only turn on). The whole building seemed to be abandoned from the rest of the resort..

1. Clean 2. Super friendly staff, they stayed late to ensure that I was able to check in 3. Good Views 4. Lots of facilities including pool, gym Reception and all facilities including breakfast restaurant is nearly 1.5 km away, so you need to always travel for them.

they should more take care of balcony and replace old things

Breakfast is great. Checkin location is 15 min walk distance from where to stay and no one informed it before arrival. Waiter of breakfast is really worse and asking for breakfast ticket several times.

Large room, comfortable beds, good location Tooms were dirty, many cobwebs around the rooms, old spills on floor not cleaned (under bed), dusty.

Superb

The property resort is really nice as you can take a swim in hallstater lake and alot of thing to do. The distance of hotel from the resort as the guests are with the luggage. Suggesting you to provide some commute atleast for the luggages
