The Spinnaker Hotel

This room was tolerable for a night but we were not given hand towels or washcloths. The coffee pot was dirty. The room was right by the road on the first floor so we didn’t get to enjoy the balcony. But we loved Melia’s Cafe!

Great location The beds were not comfortable at all. Rooms smelled musty. Pool area was not very big and the pool did not look clean.

The front desk staff is so kind and friendly. The location is perfect. Malia’s cafe is right on property. Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts within a very short distance. Very convenient to going back and forth from beach. Despite putting out the Please Service magnet every day for 4 days, housekeeping never touched our room. We had to go find people to give us new towels and toilet paper and we had to empty our own garbage. Rooms Never cleaned.

We arrived sunday evening, checked in, dropped off our bags and head to the boardwalk until late to look around expecting to spend the next afternoon on the beach. We got back and went to bed. We woke up with scratchy thoats early Monday morning. I looked up and the ceiling had alot of mold. The curtains also had mold and the bathroom. I immediately called the front desk let then also know my daughter has asthma and was told maintenance can come up to use a chemical to remove the mold bc since they are near the beach that it happens. I ask for a room change and was told they had no rooms and I had the option to cancel or wait until 4pm for them to see if another room opens. This was around 7:30am my children and I are tired and could just sit outside to wait for a room to open. There is no ventilation in the room so I was confused how a chemical to treat mold would be used and have ppl stay in the room. They said they would allow me to cancel our reservation and waive all fees. We ended up having to cancel the reservations and return to Philadelphia. My children was disappointed so we booked the Hilton in philadelphia and spent the rest of our vacation there. I would not recommend the spinnaker. They need to close and properly treat the mold in their facility.

I like that the room has a kitchenette. The water pressure for the shower is great. The staff is very helpful and kind and does their best to accommodate my requests. I also like the onsite parking very much. Not really

The staff were helpful and friendly. It was convenient and close to boardwalk.

I like the fact that it was close to the beach and other activities The only thing I did not like was the pull out sofa it was a little uncomfortable

The room had obvious wear and tear and could use some TLC and maintenance in the bathroom. The kitchen area had 1 pan, no oven pans or oven mits/pot holders, would have liked to have more cookware available and definitely at least pot holders. We were surprised to see dish liquid and paper towels, nice added touch. While there there were multiple rooms on our floor that had toilets overflowing from the floor above running into the lower rooms including our room. We called for maintenance that never stopped. Housekeeping brought rags after 11pm to give to us to clean, I had already stuck a bath towel to help soak up the water coming through the ceiling above the lights/mirror so our items on the sink did not get covered in toilet water. We had contacted the front desk multiple times asking for the rags to be removed as we did not to touch them knowing they were holding toilet water. They were still between the light and the ceiling when we checked out. The pool area on 2 days had dead birds behind the chairs and in the walk way. It did not appear that the pool area was cleaned as the same birds were there multiple days. We loved the location and having a kitchen and a balcony that you could see the ocean.

Location close to the beach, friendly staff, full size fridge This is the 2nd time we stayed there where we found someone else’s clothes still in the room. It makes me wonder how well the rooms are cleaned. First time was someone’s underwear, 2nd time was a sock

I had to change my sheets at 12:30 on Saturday at check in they claimed we denied service we didn’t we were in the room so they weren’t able to clean the room I didn’t like the property I want a refund I didn’t like the property it wasn’t clean had to change my own sheets I want a refund.

This property had everything in close range of the boardwalk and other essentials. My family and I will be back at the Spinnaker next year...
