Empress Motel

Location No wash cloths or towels , no staff in office ,Door to Bathroom LG damage to door frame that is a HEALTH and Codes violation

I did not like anything. I had too go next door to sign in. I guess there was no staff at the Empress. The room smelled awefull. I had to go buy Lysol for the smell and the whole room smelled this way. I would never go back and stay there

I like that is was a block from the beach. The pool was fantastic. We found hair in the drain the room was falling apart. Small tv. Ice maker did not work. One of our lights didn't work

Location was perfect Our fridge didn’t work day one but the staff got us a new one immediately!

The bathrooms appeared recently remodeled, and the shower water pressure was incredibly strong. The staff communication was impeccable.

The front office was closed, so we had to check in next door at the sahara hotel where the front desk staff (2 women) were rude. They didn't allow us to check in early (it was 2pm) and said we had to wait til 4pm but allowed 2 groups after us get their room keys. I go in, and ask for my keys, and she blatantly said no, and that I had to wait. I expressed how 2 other groups after me got their keys, and she went on to say how their rooms were already cleaned and available. Racism much?? I leave with no keys, 230pm I get a call from the hotel telling me my keys are ready. Mind you, i just left the front office asking for my keys...smh!! Play too dm much!!! The stench of mold immediately as you open the door, dirty floor and moldy ceiling and wall. The ac filter was super dirty...I almost asked for a refund but it was too late. I WILL NEVER AGAIN!!!

Ocean side of the street, cross one property behind it and you are on the boardwalk/beach. Low price wasn't expecting to much. Room did have a musty smell. Open the windows and got it aired out. Low price wasn't expecting to much.

It was close to the boardwalk …. Had a pool for the kids to pass time in! Parking is tight for bigger vehicles

The pool was great and the location was pretty decent. All the staff we came in contact with were nice. AC was great! The amount of space was good for what we needed for this trip. The cleanliness around the room could be significantly better. The smell of mold and mildew made us feel like we were sleeping in a basement. We had to purchase our own fabric spray to live for the week. We requested to have our room cleaned in the middle of our stay and it didn't happened. The towels they replaced seemed like the towels we already had but just refolded. We had to continuously empty our trashcans into larger trash cans around the hotel.

Great location, close to the boardwalk and the beach. Office not staffed at the location. Had to go to neighboring office. Rooms dated and could use a refresh.

Location very good lots of things to do around us and decent variety of restaurants nearby...I liked the handrail in the walkways up to the steps thanks... the sheet was crisp felt nice after a long day. Very good AC! The pool felt amazing. Lots of bad reviews for this place but we loved it. They say it's really outdated but our room 254 was nice, felt homey. I plan on coming back next year. The carpet looked clean, did not have any bad smells in the room. The curtains kept the outside light out, the bathroom appeared new and was clean. Good water pressure! Thanks... loved our stay! No ice but eh it's fine
