AC Hotel by Marriott Cleveland Beachwood

Location is great, access to restaurants. Parking is free and generally easy to access from the highway. Room size is good and clean. Beds comfortable Staff are apathetic. Room cleaning is not consistent and strange that you need to request for your room to be cleaned. Very limited breakfast options and the service is poor.

Location was great. The lobby was very welcoming. There were a few mine things that needed improvement. Could not get ice or water to come out of the hydration station that was on our floor.

How was the breakfast? The breakfast needs improvement. The selection was very basic, and every morning there seemed to be a different issue. The coffee machine was often out of service or empty, there were frequently no cups available, and one morning there was no coffee at all. Although staff members were present, no one seemed to be checking or restocking the breakfast area. Even the Brie cheese was served in a way that made it stick to the plate, making it difficult to serve. A little more attention to detail would make a big difference. How was the location? The location was excellent—very convenient and one of the best parts of our stay. What didn't you like? The staff was always friendly, smiling, and polite, but it felt like they weren't trained to the standard you would expect from a higher-end hotel. They were present, yet the breakfast area often went unattended, and issues such as the coffee machine, empty supplies, or missing cups were not addressed promptly. The rooms were very clean, which we appreciated. However, the air conditioning was uncomfortable because it was directed straight toward the bed. No matter where you slept, the cold air blew directly on you. Then the system would stop until the room became warm again, so the temperature constantly shifted between too cold and too warm. The other downside was the soundproofing. This is probably more of a building design issue than a maintenance problem, but the walls are very thin. If you have noisy neighbors, you'll hear almost everything—from conversations and sneezing to chairs being moved. What did you like? The location was excellent and by far one of the hotel's biggest advantages. It was very convenient, and the rooms were clean throughout our stay.

Staff was helpful once it is your turn. It took a while to get to my turn.

Superb

We had reserved a king room with a pull out sofa, the room was prepaid. When we arrived we were told they only had a queen room even though we had RESERVED and prepaid. We were very disappointed! They did offer a free breakfast at the buffet and a drink from the bar. We were unable to use either. When they refreshed the towels the net day, they also refilled the coffee, but not the cups. A bit hard to make coffee without cups, they also didn’t replace the face wipes. So although I loved the location, the room wasn’t worth what they charge, especially when you don’t get what you reserved and paid for.

This was a very nice hotel in a very nice area outside of Cleveland.

Property has mgmt issues, room booked and paid 3 months in advance, day of all king rooms sold out?!? Room with dble beds wasnt cleaned well. House keeping knocked at 1030 even though DND tag was on door and checkout was noon.
