Grand Hotel Orlando at Universal Blvd - Shuttle to Theme Parks

In my first room the wall was wet and soft and as I was getting out the bed my butt brushed against the wall and the wall caved in. I was compensated with another room free of charge tho so that was good. There was also hair in both of my tubs in my old and replacement room. Black long hair none of it was mine or anybody’s in my party. My doorknob was also messed up and before I found out how to get in I let the staff know on the first night about my door and they said one of the people in my three person party had to stay in the room or we just weren’t gonna be able to get in. I eventually found a way to get in my pushing the knob up and ramming in the door hard. The breakfast was terrible they had burnt pancakes and cold sausages and cold eggs. But the pool was very relaxing the only downfall was the first step on the six ft side of the ladder was broke and I scratched my foot and almost drowned. But besides these things it’s a decent hotel just needs a remodel.

the location They overbooked my room along with so many others. They said they were completely full and then we looked in the hotel and there were rooms that were empty but were a mess. We finally got our room after complaining but it took so long. We were able to check in at 2 and we didn't get our room until 11

Upon check in my reserves room was not available and instead of informing me I was just assigned another room. The room was not properly cleaned, there was him stuck to the night stand the shower head and faucet to the tub weee coming out of the wall when touched to turn on water. The floor in front of the sink/ mirror me in the bathroom was sweating so badly that I almost slipped and fell. They were charging $1.50 for a one use amount of tooth paste and on my last day there was an enormous roach and they showed no interest in the aid of killing it when I expressed I didn’t wanna crush it and still walk across the carpet afterwards. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and I frequent Florida all over.

They charged me extra $29.25 fees and parking, but when I booked in Expedia , free parking. Thx

The over all stay was great

For some reason the walls of our room has water running down them. There was a broken dehumidifier from the 90s beside the air conditioner. Obviously they know the rooms have problems but don’t care about endangering the health of their guests. I spoke with the very uncaring rude older lady at the front desk she told me it was my fault for keeping the air at 74. Well the second night it was at 65 like she said and the wall waterfalls were even worse. The pictures online are over 20 years old and this is no longer a Hilton as advertised. I am considering a false advertisement lawsuit. Check the pictures out It’s crazy. I have lived in Florida for 45 years and worked at hotels on Clearwater Beach, as well as LaQuinta and Holiday Inns but wall waterfalls are a complete first!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everything felt well taken care of. My room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a long day. I truly enjoyed my time here and would happily return.

The hotel itself was nice. Clean pool, nice staff. The cleanliness of the room could have been better, we found a receipt from a previous guest under our pillow when going to sleep, and the walls and doors were a bit grimy. All in all, it’s a decent place to have a quick stay if you need to rest your head. If you’re lucky, depending on the room you get, you’ll get a great, clear view of the Disney fireworks show.

Continental breakfast, Turkey sausage, eggs no flavor, not good eggs, no fruits, otherwise it was hot breakfast and cold cereal. Pancakes are tiny ones Bathrooms need to be cleaned. My bathroom was dirty and faucet was broken full of hair but I didn't want to ask for room change.

The area and price

It felt dirty... almost greasy. Please, someone do the simple things. Pull the weeds growing between the pavers around and on the pool deck. A little paint goes a long way too. Just run down.
