APA Hotel Yodoyabashi Ekimae

New property. Comfortable and well located. All went well. Nothing that I didn’t like.

I have never slept on a King sized bed before, and now idk how I can go back. It was the best sleep ive had in Japan so far. The location of this place is perfect. And the facilities felt luxurious. I enjoyed my stay and would return for a future stay. Beyond the view being the side of another building allowing no light in, it was the luck of the draw on that cant fault the hotel for it. The step up into the bathroom was a bit odd. Id really like to know the design reason for that. Overall solid stay.

The mattress was a bit thin.

Small as perusal with these hotels good location not to far-ish the train station (it’s still a walk to the station underground) The room still smelled of smoke with the ac on. It would come and go but it would give me such a bad headache. The room was kind of dirty in certain areas. They have the washer and dryer in the public bath (strange spot to have it) Only one in the women and one in the men’s. Which made it a hassle when multiple people wanted to use it. Ended up going to a laundromat 10 minutes away instead.

Bed& staff Little far from station

I arrived hours before I could check-in. One of the staff members noticed me and assisted me right away without any hesitation. I was able to drop off my luggage before I had to rush to an engagement. After work, I came back to the hotel to get my luggage and check-in. The check-in process was very smooth and quick, took me less than 5 minutes to get my card key. The room was clean and comfortable. I like this particular location because there are many restaurants, cafés, and convenience stores nearby. The nearest subway station is also just a five-minute walk away. The check-out process was also very smooth, taking less than two minutes. There was nothing I did not like about my stay. However, I think the check-in machines could indicate which information is required because initially I could not check-in because I did not input my complete home address. I think that was just a very minor and small inconvenience. Keep up the good work!

Up to the standard of most APA hotels. Room and bedding were clean, wifi was fast, and lots of amenities for relaxation! Location was very close to the Yodoyabashi station of the Midosuji line. Mattress was comfy but sinks in where people lay lol. Lots of restaurants in the area and fast access to Namba/Dotonburi. We got the king sized room and it seems the room wasn't used for a bit because the shampoo, conditioner, body wash push bottles were half empty with condensation and a lot of crusted product on the spouts. The drain of our shower must have been blocked because by 2 minutes into your shower, the tub was beginning to fill and the water level was over our feet. The "laundromat" at this hotel was just one small washer and dryer inside the change room of the onsen and the machine through google translate said, "no detergent needed, detergent will come out automatically through the cycle", but there were no suds and when I took out the clothes from the washer to put in the dryer, it honestly smelled the same as when I put it in...just wet. We got the hotel breakfast buffet included rate but honestly, the breakfast selection was very sad and it was almost all empty two times we went. We got there at 8:45 a.m., when it closes at 10 a.m. and the 45 minutes we were there, they only refilled the croissants to a total of 3 croissants and 4 small rolls. I wish I got pictures of how it looked...the bacon looked steamed, the salad bar had 3 pieces of ham left and empty plates of what might have been potato salad and a mixed salad, the rolled omelette was cold, no fruit, the side dishes were empty, the miso soup was not even warm, and they finally refilled the scrambled eggs by the time we were leaving. I felt bad for people who came in and paid 2,000 Yen for that "buffet".

Great location, I was solo travelling and got upgraded to a double room, there was just about enough space for me but definitely wouldn't fit 4 people as the rooms are on the smaller side. The bathroom was compact, I'm not a fan of shower curtains and this one smelt bad! The breakfast was poor as i follow a vegetarian/vegan diet and there wasnt anything suitable for me. I was near the lift and I could hear the lift all night. Additionally, my room didnt have a view! I opened my curtain to a brick wall! That didnt bother me much though!

Breakfast was delicious!

Location is excellent- easy to walk places and metro station down the road. Also 7-11 across the street and a few bars and eateries a stones throw away. It’s a double bed, but felt small, worked for two of us but did feel a little snug.
