This hotel is absolutely amazing for what it can provide. Though the rooms may be on the smaller end it does not fail in providing the upmost comfort for the size it has. The staff, absolutely amazing, both for Japanese/Foreigners together. The location has many restaurants around and is 5 min walk in between to metro stations for easy transportation throughout Osaka. Nothing at all

Location is quiet and close to malls and attractions. Easy to get around via train. Clean and no nonsense. Not huge rooms but they work well enough. Good air con and friendly staff. We usually don’t pay for included breakfast but we did so accidentally and it was well worth it. Such good value. Could have used a small table or chair in room.

The the way it looks, what comes with your room, the staff are nice. It’s just overall amazing The only thing was that I was forced to watch Japanese channels and couldn’t connect my Netflix or something like that but that’s really it.

The location was okay. I could walk to to Osaka Castle but apart from this you need to take the metro to reach main landmarks. I like the slippers provided both for the inside of the room and the inside of the hotel. Also you can enjoy the mouth wash liquid, toothpaste and toothbrush etc provided at the reception area. They provided me free activities inside the hotel such as cooking. I did not attend them. When I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist told me that I had booked two rooms for myself. After an 11-hour flight, all I wanted was to rest, so it was really stressful. Luckily, I had printed my reservation before my trip to Osaka and showed it to her. She also asked to see the confirmation email from the hotel. After checking everything for a few minutes, she finally let me into my room. I think it was probably a translation misunderstanding. I booked a “double room,” but maybe they understood it as booking two rooms. I also saw another review mentioning the same issue. I strongly recommend printing your reservation pages before your trip, just in case.

The buffer was great! Room was good. Just a little small but that’s expected. Great water pressure and not too noisy. Could hear people in the hallway at 7am being loud. Otherwise the staff and hotel experience was solid. The water pressure, the pillows, the food.

Staff members were very helpful and courteous. We really loved the location - it's a little tucked away and gave us a lovely retreat from the busy, touristy areas we explored. But there are still plenty of great restaurants that are within walking distance, and well connected by trains. The room was very peaceful and quiet, though it felt a little bit small. The breakfast spread was solid with a variety of traditional Japanese items as well as western-style breakfast items. Room (and bathroom) could have been a little bit bigger but it was perfectly fine for a short stay!

We liked the fact that it was out of the busy city area but not too far for a walk. Cafes and 7/11s, Family Mart etc close by. A silly one, I wish it had a casual bar for a sundowner drink

Good verity of western and Japanese options

I appreciated the hotel staff always being so friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was ok, but the staff seemed a bit anxious to make sure you ate quickly and left, so tables would open up for the next guests.

In house onsen Bit far from main attractions
-
Convenient location, kind staff, clean and neat room
-
Not enough space for luggage

It was clean and the lobby staff was polite upon arrival. This is the first negative hotel review I have ever written. I do not leave reviews lightly, and I have stayed in hotels all over the world. This experience warrants it. Hotel Resol Trinity Osaka presents itself online as a calm, artsy, zen retreat. That is not what you get. The rooms feel cramped and uncomfortable. The only place in the entire hotel with a pleasant scent is the lobby. The elevator smelled of cigarette smoke. Our room, which was labeled non-smoking, also smelled of cigarette smoke. That alone made the stay frustrating. Our room had no view. None. The sliding window opened to a view of nothing. No skyline. No street. No light. It felt enclosed and claustrophobic. The lobby staff was polite and welcoming. After that, the tone changed. The level of hospitality we experienced everywhere else in Japan was missing here. The staff came across as cold and at times rude. The overall atmosphere of the hotel feels off in a way that is hard to ignore. The branding leans heavily into a “zen” experience. It feels forced. Nothing about the stay felt relaxing or authentic. The biggest issue was the private bath policy. The hotel does not clearly state that the bath is not tattoo-friendly. Instead, they sell small adhesive stickers at the front desk and expect guests to cover their tattoos. If you have a large tattoo, you need several stickers. Being covered in adhesive defeats the purpose of a relaxing experience. This should be disclosed before booking. There are many great hotel options in Osaka. Do not choose this one.

The location is everything. It was nice and quiet and it was a great first impression for Osaka. I loved how the room felt and the design of everything was really well done. I would have stayed more nights if my schedule allowed. Definitely going to be my go to hotel when I am in Osaka. Hard to say there was anything I didn’t like. I had a nice view and a great room. If I had to pick something, maybe the light switches were a bit confusing all being connected to the bed, but that is more of an error on my part. Loved this place.

I stayed at Hotel Resol Trinity Osaka for 3 nights and had a really pleasant experience. What I loved most was how new, fresh, and modern everything felt. The hotel was extremely clean and well-maintained, which made the stay very comfortable. It also had a relaxing atmosphere, perfect to return to after a full day of travel and exploring. The location was convenient as well, with the metro just a short walk away, making it easy to get around the city. They also have a public bath, which I didn’t get to try during my short stay but is a nice feature to have. One thing to note; though not really a complaint, and quite common in Japan, is that the room can feel a bit compact for two people with two suitcases. It’s manageable, but something to keep in mind when packing.

Really good and clean

The washer and dryer were not the best, clothes needed to be dried 3-4 times and still came out wet.
