Fraser Residence Nankai Osaka

We were treated so well at Fraser! Everything was wonderful! There was a strong smell in our room when we first got there, but other than that it was great.

The staff, clean, close to Nankai Rapit, breakfast, Dotonbori, shopping, dining, etc. Will go back! Thank you to the wonderful staff!

A very nice and comfortable 2-bedroom 2-bathroom apartment, perfect for 2 couples or a family, in a prime location near Namba Station, a walking distance from central locations in Osaka. Good breakfast included. Very cooperative staff, assisted us with receiving luggage sent via Yamato before checking in, and storing it after checking out for a few hours till we left to the airport (direct train from Namba Station to KIX). My cousin and I treated ourselves and stayed in a 1 bedroom unit from 24-27 May 2026. The unit looked matched the pictures shown on the Fraser Residence website & on Booking.com. We enjoyed having space to keep our suitcases open and still have ample space to walk all around the unit. Though we didn't cook in the unit, the fridge, freezer, microwave & filtered water were greatly appreciated. I had plans to use the washer & dryer, but found some good clothing deals, so didn't have to wash any clothes. Detergent pods were provided for use in the washer. The bedroom had an air purifier, TV & walk-in closet with dresser, safe, ample hangers, iron & ironing board. The living room had a sofa, coffee table, glass side table, desk, lamp, TV & dining table w/3 chairs Most of the noise from the outside was filtered out, except when a siren or a vehicle w/4 blaring loud speakers on its roof drove by. Maybe that's why ear plugs were provided with the amenities. Some of the amenities were available to select in the lobby. The bathroom had space to move around and I liked the tub/shower faucet controls. There was good water pressure and the water temperature did not fluctuate while taking a shower. The AC worked well and had individual remote controls for the split AC units in the living room and in the bedroom. For passing on room cleaning during our stay, we were each given a card w/yen on it that could be used at 7-Eleven & Lawson. Breakfast had Japanese, Chinese and Western selections, soups, salad, breads, desserts & soft serve. I always had more than enough to eat. There is a gym and 2 saunas, which we didn't get a chance to use. All the staff we encountered were polite, friendly & helpful. The staff at the front desk and at the breakfast area always greeted us when we entered or exited & made us feel welcomed. Nothing

I think it was such a nice and various combination between Japanese and Western style breakfast. Personally, it was better than Candeo hotel's breakfast.

The location was excellent just beside the Namba station. The room with a washer-dryer was excellent but it should have an English translation beside the washer. The sound proof windows was great, we could not hear the traffics.

STAFF, location, room, kitchen, washer/dryer. This hotel is excellent and the staff are even better. Extremely friendly, kind and helpful. Always smiling and welcoming. They helped us arrange a last minute jumbo taxi and were incredibly understanding and accommodating in arranging for us to get a forgotten iPad returned. This was the first time we stayed in a room that offered in room washer/dryer and a kitchen - after 20k+ step days, it was amazingly convenient. Location is excellent. Very easy to get to from KIX on the rap!t line. Easy walk to Dotombori and the surrounding area. Across the street from Nankai Namba. Room was very spacious and clean, breakfast buffet was smaller than some of the others we've been to in Japan but options were more than adequate and everything was fresh and delicious. Property is small. If you enjoy large, fancier hotels, this may not be the right fit for you. If you enjoy comfort, location, cleanliness and helpful staff-stay here. Thank you so much ?? Nothing.

Location and staff Bathroom needs an update, small for the price.

Great location, the room was spacious and comfortable. It was great to have a washer dryer in the room. It wasn't very clean. We noticed some toys and baby bottles under the bed that weren't ours and they were never cleaned. They also left some damp towels when the room was "cleaned"

Newly renovated rooms, with small kitchen, spacious refrigerator and washing machine / dryer in the apartment. Excellent location. Helpful staff. Getting compensated for forgoing room cleaning service (fresh towels and amenities were still provided on request.

Great location. We booked a one bedroom apartment with breakfast included for four people, my wife, our two 9 year old children, and myself, for a four-night stay. The price was relatively good compared to other nearby hotels. However, upon check in, we discovered that the apartment did not include any beds for the children. The hotel’s policy appears to be that children under 12 are expected to sleep in the same bed as their parents. We were then charged an additional $250 simply to add bedding to the sofa in the living room. In the end, the sofa was only large enough for one person to sleep comfortably. We also later found out that the “breakfast included” rate we had booked did not include breakfast for the children. Apparently, the hotel does not consider children under 12 as part of the breakfast package. As expected, we had to pay an additional fee so the children could have breakfast with us. This seems to be a well-established management practice, as the breakfast vouchers provided for the children after the additional payment were printed in a different color. Overall, the hotel itself is very decent, and the staff were wonderful and did their best to handle the situation professionally and soften the impact of management decisions. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we will not be booking Fraser hotels again in the future.

Great location - Being right across the street from the train station was super convenient. Lots of restaurants and shops around. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, functional, and comfortable.

Only stayed for 1 night at the end of our trip but it was lovely. Huge room with a washing machine and kitchen, large bed.
