I loved the personal, friendly atmosphere, with great facilities and everything kept very clean. Everyone was happy, and the common areas were really cozy. It’s one of the best places I’ve stayed in Japan. Everything was easy and smooth during our stay

The shower room was a little bit too tight. It would be hard for those who had bigger size.

Hands down the best Guesthouse in the country. I’ve stayed at over 100 places across more than 80 cities throughout Japan, and this is number one, no contest. The staff are absolutely stellar, the atmosphere is the friendliest I’ve ever encountered anywhere, and I’ve made friends here. If you’re in Osaka, this is where you need to stay, and don’t forget to try out the coffee and curry rice downstairs.

Some of the guests can be a bit rowdy in the common area sometime, but that's rare. In any case, much more comfortable than other guest houses and capsule hotels.

I stayed for three nights at Guest House U-en in Osaka, and it was absolutely fantastic. The bed was super comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean, and the atmosphere was wonderfully quiet — perfect for a good rest. The staff were exceptionally kind and warmhearted, which made the stay even more special. I would love to come back and can highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Osaka!

The house is old-fashion, which impresses me most. I love it.

Cost effective stay at a well thought-out and cared-for facility. The checkin and checkout processes were easy. There was some dust in the space between my bed and the safe.

The staff is super kind, you can stay in the eating room and chat with othery. Everyone was very open and kind. I also loved our room, it was little but had everything we needed.
