As most people mention, the rooms are quite small but it was manageable. Would be hard with more than two suitcases in the room.

not much noise from boats that stop in front of the room on canal noise from rooms you could here banging often \at 1630 had to bring my towels down to be changed as no maid ever came yes i put the sticker on the outside of door

The hotel was right in the heart of the Dotonbori neighborhood in Osaka. We could walk out the door be instantly in the middle of the action. Tons of sights to see, food to eat, and experiences to be had! Exactly what I wanted! The room had an excellent blackout curtain, and we didn't hear any noise from the street late at night. The back door on the first floor opened to the river which was so nice, and we were able to walk everywhere from the hotel. The room was small. I expected this, and I was not disappointed; however, if you are looking for a spacious and luxurious room, this is not the place for you! While the room was very soundproof from the outside noise, we heard a lot of hallway noise from people arriving late or leaving early. This is quite common in most hotels. Not great if you're hoping to sleep late or get to bed early.

Minimal design, super clean and smell wonderful. Love all staff, they are really sweet and friendly. Best location. Very convenient to go shopping and come back to take a break. Pancake and drink all day are lovely. 10/10 I recommend to friends and family. My friends already booked in December. :) Nothing

The location was fantastic, just a few minutes’ walk to Dotonbori, with plenty of restaurants, shopping and entertainment nearby. It was one of our favourite hotels we stayed at in Japan. The complimentary drinks and pancakes were a lovely bonus and really added to the experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and noticeably more spacious than many other hotel rooms we stayed in during our trip.

The location was great and the overall staff was great. It was always easy to get in and out and the pancakes were a nice touch. The rooms were very small to the point that there was no where to put luggage. Also the beds were pretty uncomfortable. We both woke up in the middle of the night uncomfortable.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating; easily the best part about our stay here. Location was good— close to convenience stores and a short-ish walk to the nearest subway station. Beds were comfortable and outside noise wasn’t an issue despite being so close to a busy part of town. View of the river was a nice bonus as well! Room was very small, which we expected to some degree but it was easily the smallest hotel room we stayed in during our whole Japan trip. There were only 2 of us and we’re not particularly big people but even then it was almost always a tight squeeze. Thankfully there’s room under the beds to store luggage but when you’re trying to pack it can be quite difficult. There was also a weird, unpleasant smell coming from the AC. Nothing that bothered me enough to want to switch rooms, but definitely a little annoying. I didn’t have the breakfast at the hotel, but my boyfriend did and he said it wasn’t worth the price— luckily the hotel is close to konbinis so just grab something to eat there!
