Hotel Granvia Osaka

Fantastic location with larger rooms than typical for Japan. Nice bathroom and lots of amenities. There’s a Pokémon center and Daimaru dept store super close. Nothing

Great location The AC broke on the first day. We were moved to another room which seemed smaller.

Really conveniently located as it is in Osaka Station. Easy access to a lot of stores and food areas. The room was clean and staff were very accommodating. The room was a little small but it was worth the convenience of its location.

The hotel is located in the heart of Osaka Station and is near everything like trains, subways, shopping, and restaurants. The rooms were nice but did not reflect the level of the rest of the hotel facilities which included fine dining options. It was a comfortable and convenient hotel but I was a little disppointed in the value of what I got. The room looked like a larger and fancier business hotel room but with no breakfast included in the price. The breakfast buffet was priced too high so we didn't even try it out.

Hotel is right in the middle of Osaka station and all shopping. It was clean.

Bath room is a bit outdated. Some scratch mark here and there made me feel it was a bit crappy. Also, the room is very small.

The hotel is in the train station itself making it easy to take the JR trains or the city subway lines. Staff is very friendly. Spoke English well. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. The room we had was smaller than any rooms we had in Tokyo. We had the queen bed category. Maybe go twin beds if you want larger room. That's what I would do on my next visit.

I loved the location, the staff was wonderful, and the view from my window was fantastic. Really, I have to highlight the staff, they are some of the most attentive and hardworking hotel staff ever. The overall experience was incredible, so these are minor nitpicks: There are gaps between the wall and the ceiling in my room where I can see into the dark ceiling cavity, makes the room feel unfinished.

Location was perfect for the train ride arrival from Tokyo. We then needed to walk over to Umeda Sky Building Observation for the sunset which was an easy flat short walk. We also needed to catch a bus to Itami airport which was super easy with the help of the staff showing us where to go. This hotel is in the perfect location to not only explore the sights, but also shop and easily travel around Osaka. Highly recommend. I can't say that I didn't like anything but did find it a bit confusing at first having the reception check in counter on the 19th floor.

The hotel is in a great location. The staff is very friendly, and they were kind enough to save our bags while we walk around when we arrived early at our stay.

Great location, staff spoke very good English which helped because I don’t speak Japanese very well. Close to shopping mall and stores. N/A.

Small room, no outside view little suffocating. Confusing elevators for the hotel access.

Check-in was unsatisfactory, and even though booking.com seemed to state all taxes and fees were included, the check-in staff made me pay an extra tax at check-in.

Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We chose this hotel primarily because of its location at the Osaka Train Station and easy access to the subway and bus. We were not disappointed.
