If you want your vacation to be ruined, book this hotel. It’s the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed in during all my travels. I stayed in three different hotels in Japan — the other two were amazing for the same budget. I know it’s a low-budget hotel, but they don’t even have the bare minimum, and they lie in the description. They said it was a room for five people. Instead, they gave us two separate tiny rooms that didn’t even fit one person properly. The description said there was a private bathroom — it was actually shared. It said there was a balcony — there was no balcony at all. The rooms are so small there’s no space for luggage. The mattresses were not comfortable at all. They gave us two extra ones so it was slightly better, but still bad. The place is so dirty, with dust everywhere. They even entered the room without permission and took our umbrellas to put them in the shared area. I can’t even give this place one star. Even the location — yes, it’s near the center, but the road to get there is not nice, not safe at all, and doesn’t feel like Osaka. It’s more like a terrible suburb. There are other places nearby for the same budget that are much better.

In general, it was okay deal for 1 night stay, as it was a last minute booking, and we searched something not far from Namba - it is 25min walk by foot. We liked the attempts for the good service - they provided slippers, tea, coffee, water, and the receptionist was very nice and accommodated even though couldn't speak English. The accommodation looks much nicer on the photos than in reality. The hotel requires some cosmetic refreshment - the walls looked dirty, the floor was sticky, the bed linen didn't feel fresh and clean at all. In addition, the deal was not accurate - we booked a family room with a private bath, but instead got 2 separate rooms without a bath and toilet, but the shower room was located down in the hall and sort of "reserved " only for our rooms which was not comfortable. The noise from the streets was very loud, it felt like we slept with open windows

We would stay again, very enjoyable

The design of the room A bit cold in the room but maybe because it’s a Japanese Ryokan but not hotel?

Great location walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go in Namba. Staff messaged prior to check in to let us know they could not be there but provided everythhing we needed for easy check in. We booked during golden week and was fine for a last minute option. As staff were away envelope was left in the room asking for cash payment to be left inside envelope. On the first morning of our stay a staff member let themselves into our room while we were sleeping to get payment. They did this again another morning after we had paid even though we put the do not disturb hanger on the door. This was a breach of privacy. There would be better options outside of golden week.
