Property was essentially an air bnb style or apartment style hotel. Location was perfect! Close to important subway systems and within walking distance from shopping areas. No one on site to discuss with, for check in or check out but we knew what we were booking. We wish it had been a little cleaner, but we understood housekeeping did not come around as often.

Lovely property, fairly close to many places we wanted to see. Distance to train station and no staff at location.

Free washer and dryer and the air conditioner worked very well in the room. The “beds” were so uncomfortable, it was hard just like sleeping on the floor. Woke up several times during the night because it was so uncomfortable and I was in pain. We stayed at a traditional Japanese Machiya in Kyoto and the futons were much thicker and comfortable. The laundry room was like being back in college, people leaving laundry in machines and other people moving them and placing them on top of other machines. The day we arrived, the lobby was cool with air conditioning which was very much appreciated due to how hot it was outside but the other days it was just as hot as outside. No water bottles in the room but vending machine to buy water. No housekeeping and when asked for the garbage to be cleared, I was told to take it out myself.

The area was great! It was close to shops, cafes, restaurants, and even a go kart place. The hotel was very nice along with the room that was a great mix of modern and the classic Japanese styling. Nothing at all. Everything was perfect!

Great location and I think I got a genius deal. Wanted to extend but wasn’t possible I would come back again if it were for the decent price I paid At first I found the entry system confusing but that’s just me! It’s very practical

The location was not bad The room was dirty, we were given a room NOT showed on any pictures. 20m2(announced on the website)is very small for 3 people. The (fake) tatamis were grey and DIRTY. Way harder to sleep on this floor than on real tatamis. When we asked for them to clean the room they sent someone, but the floor was still dirty when we got back. Way overpriced for what it is. The photos uploaded show the state when we arrived.

We only stayed for one night while we were in Osaka, but the location was great and the self check-in was super easy. I accidentally left my kindle behind in the room but they were more than happy to arrange staff to be there for when I could pick it up. The room was smaller than we expected, but it had all the amenities needed.

Great room with traditional Japanese styling. Comes with everything I needed to enjoy breakfast or cook some of my own. Washroom had plenty of room and a good mirror. Futons were comfortable. Can control the lights temperature to suit any time of day. Even a night light mode. The price for value here is really good. Vending machine in lobby and free laundry!!

The hotel's location is perfect, situated in a quiet area yet within walking distance to popular attractions like Namba and Dotonbori. The nearby train stations also made it incredibly easy to explore the rest of the city. The rooms were modern, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities you could need, including a comfortable futons, free Wi-Fi, and a spacious bathroom. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the decor, which gave the space an atmosphere of a traditional Japanese household. Another highlight was how quiet and peaceful the hotel was, making it a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Free washing machines and dryers came in hand as well when we needed to clean our clothes bit earlier than expected due to very hot weather. Overall, **Hotel Amaterrace** is a hidden gem in Osaka. With its ideal location, and comfortable accommodations. We felt saddened when leaving. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city! The kitchenett was very small, no room for placing washed dishes and one od the power sockets was teared out of the wall, which we sadly couldn't use.
