Location Smelled weird in my room like pork broth

Very convenient location in central Dotonbori area. This room is about as small as it gets, avoid if you are not prepared for it. Smells a bit from previous smokers in the room.

Close to dotonbori but that’s about it When I checked in and went to my room I opened the door and the stench of cigarettes hit me. Went back to the desk and said there’s no way I reserved a smoking room. I don’t smoke and hate the smell. After some back and forth he said he’d get me a different room for 6000 yen more for the five nights. Weird as I already paid but whatever. Then he said he had to go check if I “used” the room. I literally was gone maybe 5 mins. Finally get my new room, not what it looked like on booking at all. It was a dump imo. 2nd morning woke hacking green crud out of my lungs and a sinus infection. Thought maybe it was because I was around a lot of people. That night took a look at the AC element aimed at the bed and there was what appeared to be mold. Honestly it’s 50 ft from dotonbori so results may very and was a bargain but definitely not what was advertised.

The location was so convenient between the metro line and a convenience store and right near the river. The staff was able to keep my bag safe long after my check out time.

the location was amazing !! it was in the middle of dotondori street, They only give you 1 towels per person and if you wanted more you needed to pay for them.

The location is near to many stations and konbinis so it is incredibly convenient.

Bed covers were old fashioned, but done the job

Room was big and location was good. The hotel is very dirty. Not just new dust from the street when you open window, but the hotel is not cleaned properly. There was brown and pink dirt in bathroom, and lot of dust in corners. Some items, like bathroom doors, bathroom curtain, or tv table could be renovated. Charging phone was super slow, especially if other equipment was used at the same time.

Conveniently located practically on Doutonbori st near all of the amazing food. Staff were friendly and responded to us promptly. The lobby area is very nice and has a cafe down there too. Room has access to a stove top which I’ve not had before- amazing for wanting to heat things up from a Konbini. The room also had ample space to charge and store devices, a small but fair bathroom, an additional sink outside the bathroom which, again, I hadn’t experienced before- you usually need to use the bathroom sink for drinking water etc. Looks like there is some work being done of renovating and upgrading which is cool. Also a later check out time and 24 hour front desk were amazing features too. Due to the closeness to such a big tourist hot spot, it can be pretty noisy. Some insulated windows to dampen the noise would go a long way. The walk way from the elevator to the room can feel a bit sketchy but I’d say it’s just an old building they’re doing their best with

The location and the price. Near everything. Also theres a kansai airport bus literally across the street. Very accessible

Great location, lovely staff, fresh towels on request Very cold, smelt of cigarettes as they don’t offer non-smoking rooms, could do with replacing bedding as their was cigarette burns in them, also the previous lodgers old cigarette butt still in the room by the bed which we had to move ourselves.

I really like location of hotel. The room rate is reasonable. The staff are so friendly. Big and comfortable room. I ll stay this hotel everytime when I come to Japan

Perfect location in the heart of Dotombori. Easy check-in. Good wifi. Larger than usual room-size for a Japanese hotel room. Quiet and well heated. Structure / facilities functional and clean but could certainly use a renovation. Slightly pricy for the product (maybe an effect of impeding Osaka 2025 expo?)

The room where I stayed was so clean and comfy compared to some of the reviews here. The bed is comfy that I don't have trouble sleeping
