The hotel is getting a little run down. The noise from outside was quite loud.

They didn't allow us to leave our luggage for 2-3 hours after check-out. They told us to use coin lockers instead. It might be due to a cultural difference, but many hotels can handle this without any problems.

The location is very central to shops and eateries. It is so cool to hv a public bath at the basement level. Love being able to hv a cup of hot cocoa/coffee/tea in the lobby. Not having a table and chair in the room. Sleeping on the floor makes it difficult for an older person like me to get up and down. The TV which is located behind our bed made watching TV very uncomfortable.

I like the welcome drink, it felt they were taking very good care of us. Moreover, I think our room was very nice and big, which I didn't expect. Position also it is nice to go around Unfortunately, it was very noisy because it is in the city center of Osaka so I couldnt sleep well

Room was quite spacious and had view of canal into Dotonbori. Onsen was small but very comfy The facility was older and the window area had minimal soundproofing. Great location in the heart of everything but also made for a noisy night's sleep - next time, bring earplugs!

It’s too close to the chaos of Osaka, it was so loud I couldn’t sleep at all the first night and barely slept the second night. Not the fault of the hotel of course, but it’s an old building so the walls were very thin.

Futons real authentic experience right down the street from Dontonbori! Would’ve liked more amenities like facewash in the rooms instead of getting them from the onsen

Huge room with tons of natural light and an amazing view. Such an amazing, authentic, Japanese feel. The futon beds, blankets, and pillows were so comfortable and the staff set them up perfectly for us. I got one of the best nights sleep I've ever had. The staff was kind, friendly, and efficient. They were happy to hold our bags before and after our stay and even brought them up to our room for us. Overall, the hotel is a little dated but it had such an authentic feel that it didn't bother me.

If I had any complaint it would be that late at night people rev their motorcycles real loud. Not the hotels fault though
