Hotel Atarayo Osaka

The mat on the floor was so uncomfortable, I booked 3 nights (nonrefundable) and left after night one and went to a different hotel.

The mattress was a little on the thin/hard side for my liking, however I had no aches or pains waking up so perhaps good to sleep on a bit harder surface.

I was really impressed by this accomodation; it was my first time trying a capsule style room and by far the best hostel I’ve stayed at! Everything was spotless clean, I love that it did the Japanese style no indoors shoes, everyone respected the rules to be quiet. The location is great and it’s a great value for money The futon could be thicker for more comfort. I’d also be more convenient to just have a lock system integrated in the curtains cause the lockers inside the room didn’t fit a carry-on size luggage.

Nice amenities. Pajamas, plenty of bathroom and toiletries available. The photos of the space are accurate. Convenient vending machines and restaurant on the premises. The sleeping pods don’t have actual doors. So sometimes you can hear all of the other people getting in and out of their pods and chatting. And the hallway lights stay on all night. Bring eye masks. Also it’s very hot in the pods! There is a ventilation fan in there, but it didn’t seem to be working.

The semi private room was comfortable, quiet, and spacious. The location was near many attractions including Dotombori. Additionally appreciated that the women’s floor was separated from the men’s floor and the main space had a fridge microwave and hot water in the common area. There were plenty of showers and toilets and sinks for ladies to prepare and change. I can’t remember if we were provided pajamas but regardless all that I needed was there. The only thing I didn’t like, was having to take my shoes off and put them in a cubby every time I entered and left the building

Hotel staff were wonderful and super friendly! The facilities are kept very clean and they offer luggage storage before check in, which we definitely used! Withing walking distance to 2 train stations :D The bed was basically a very thin mat. Extremely firm. If you're not used to firm, it might cause some back pain!

This was probably my favorite place to stay at while in Japan. The place was super clean, the bed was comfortable and everything was so organized. I would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Osaka. The rooms got hot. The first night I was there the room was nice and cool, but the rest of the days it got super hot and at times it made sleeping uncomfortable.

it's my second time staying here and the location is really good + everything is clean.

The bed and the space, it is not your usual capsule hotel. Lots of toilet and shower room, it is a good price.

Hard bed and small shower room

Lots of great facilities like a locker for valuables, pajamas, towels, toiletries, a hair dryer and styling tool. I was very impressed. Nothing.

Futon was awful, but they gave me an extra futon to place on top which made it much better

The hotel is located near the shopping street, and it’s easy to go around. The superior capsule room was very clean and comfortable. I couldn’t find a sink to clean a noodle cup.

One of the staff members rolled her eyes at me when I said I'd be leaving again and if they could keep my bags safe again. I arrived at about 2:30pm after dropping off my bags there earlier that day. I thought I could wait at the hotel until check-in time, but because the check-in time is so late (4 pm) and the seating in the lobby area was so uncomfortable, I decided to leave again and go to a nearby coffee shop to sit in a comfortable seat. I was really tired and wanted to relax. I asked if I could sit in their lounge and they said no because I hadn't checked in yet. I wish they had better seats in the lobby with at least a back rest.

Very modern with a great vibe. Quiet, clean. Staff is very helpful and speak English perfectly. Neat amenities like towels, indoor & sleeping clothes, and free toiletries. - the bed(s) were really uncomfortable for me, the mattress was very thin and I felt the floor the whole night (plus soreness in the morning) - in the rooms that have a locker inside, there is not a lot of space to maneuver, i.e. open baggage for example

Location is near shinsaibashi. The common areas and bathrooms and grooming areas were clean and complete in amenities. The units had enough room for my luggage.
