sadly the bathtub was broken and the room only has one electric socket

Clean towels and bathrobe. For the price I paid it is acceptable for a single person room with twin bed. The location is good. Note: Building scheduled for demolishment. At time of writing business will stop on 2025/10/16. Room smelled moldy. I needed to leave window open 24/7 to make it comfortable. No screen in window to block bugs from entering. Someone pooped in the onsen bath on one night of my stay.

Room was perfect and air conditioning was good. I never had to share bathroom with anyone. It was always available

Private room and neat bed. Complementary items like brush, gown, bath towel, face towel given to customers. Sauna and onsen bath available in common area. Cheap and best. Entire building is non-smoking zone. Dedicated smoking zone is provided outside the hotel. But, in elevator, I felt smoke smell.

The bed was clean. The room was clean. There was even an air conditioner in the room that worked. If you're lucky you'll get a quiet room that doesn't hear a sound in the middle of the night. What more is there to ask more? Everything else. The staff member (male boss with glasses) doesn't have much manners and don't treat guests as equals. You can talk to him in perfect Japanese and he'll reply to you in broken (very unintelligible) English, and he keeps ordering you around without showing any manners. The guests are extremely weird but and so is the hotel's vibe. The majority are jobless locals, not tourists, and none of them talks to anyone else in the lounge, but they all behave in a weird way that only people of this area can associate with. The public bath was extremely run-down (although the water was clean, with all due respect). The hotel facilities pretty run down, and everything intangible has a deteriorating air on it. In a word, other than your own small very tiny room where you can sleep comfortably, everything else is not worth the money.

Location is fantastic. Bathhouse is amenity I loved most. I also like the freebies like towels, bathrobes, coffee and use of kitchen amenities. Some places need cleaning. Room originally assigned to us had non working refrigerator and the walls need repair.

Worthy the money you bay, good location for an easy stay. The room was comfy and the location is good. Two minutes walking from the Metro station.

friendly staff, clean hostel, best location near subway station, small room, but overall, my stay is ok.

Great value for money. You get what you pay for. Infact I’d say you get more than you pay for. A private room at this price in Osaka is a steal deal. Clean bathrooms, vending machines, great staff and free bicycle rental. Couldn’t ask for more at this price. Don’t know why people say this location is not safe, there is no such issue. The location is great. No safety issue. Only 3 minutes from the nearest metro.

This turned out to be a wonderful stay. I wanted to save money, and I did, but I had my own room. The room was small, but it did have a refrigerator and AC that worked fantastic, as well as a window I could open for fresh air. I loved the location as well, it was convenient to the metro and in walking distance of many attractions. Tons of food and convenience stores within a block or less. The showers were on the first floor where the common space is, so you have to trek through the common area in robes (which were provided and quite nice). There are about six shower stalls available for the whole hostel/hotel. There are also some onsens available until 9:30pm. I didn't use those so I can't comment on them.

1min walk from the metro station and close to Shinsekai. It was DISGUSTING. 3 years of travels and never seen anything like it. The floors, walls, commons area are horrible, bathroom..? the only thing clean was the shower (thanks god!) but we still had to showered with our flip flop. It look like a squat, some people are so weird and made us uncomfortable. There is 0 insolation. The AC was smelling so bad, cigarettes smell all over the tiny, tiny room. The duvet was yellow and dirty. We would’ve left if we were less lazy to re carried our stuffs over the city.

This was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but it absolutely reeked of cigar smoke! Unacceptable!"

the room is quite small haha, but it's okay. not so much clean. but i love the location is very close to the Midosuji line the location is perfect

The customers and the lobby gave off a very hostel vibe, very friendly and approachable. The state of the bathrooms were horrendous. They did seem to have been well maintained or renovated in 30 years. For the same price, we've stayed at hotels much cleaner.

I would never say anything bad when the situation was not that bad. And this is for solo woman traveler, please don’t stay here. The building was too old, dirty and smelly. I stayed in 1 single room, but the room was not like a hotel room, It’s so smelly I can’t sleep at all and I wore a mask for help me breath. The lock was broken and the worst thing is the rest room was terrible. Dirty like I wasn’t in Japan. Hair everywhere, dust and stains. I can’t even say anything. I managed to not sleep and leave the hotel as early as possible and get shower in the airport. Sorry to say this. But this is honest and important for woman solo traveler
