The hotel was pretty near to a station and was in a safe location. The facilities were really good totally justified by the price. The room was good and came with a mini fridge & a TV. There was a kind of mini convenience store that had many options of food which you can have if you want to have some breakfast or snacks before or after doing exploration.

This is the first place in Japan that I find it to be dirty. It was horror. The cleanliness of the bed isn't as what it was in the picture. The toilet is dirty, it even has stains at the seat. The room is crammed, if you bring luggage that could stay for more than 9 days, there's no room for you to even open your luggage. It had so many rooms, but not even enough space in one room to open your luggage. Laughable. I would rather give another hundred just to get a clean place to stay. Checked out immediately after I went to the room. A cheap price for a cheap room.

Note, this is a hostel and the rooms rooms did not have private bathroom as was shown I expected. Room looks like a western university dorm room with Japanese bedding

There is a lof of potential there...but it could be better looked after. Some areas have not been cleaned sices years, it's a bit smelly and could use (at least) basic renovation. It's well located, has a bath (,daiyokujo) kitchen" , free coffee, vending machines and very low price.

This place is the most dirty accommodation I ever stayed and you could imagine. Their photos are not representing the reality. Ok, it was cheap and my expectations were not high but that’s another level of dirtiness. Stayed on the 8th floor which supposed to be the non smoking floor but still the hallway smelled cigarettes from far away. Only one toilet for the whole floor. The most tiny box toilet you can imagine, you can’t even move to wipe yourself. Dirt, mold and dust everywhere! I saw the cleaners trying to do their best but there is no hope over there. This building is so old and needs renovation. The also filthy showers were at the ground floor, where the reception was. You have to take the elevator several floors down to have a shower. Had a Japanese style single room with a mattress on the floor, big mistake. It was so uncomfortable and the room was tiny so I was barely able to move. Not to mention yet another time also how incredibly dirty that was as well! My bed linen had stains and human hair all over. You can pick up your own towels, bathrobe and sleepers also by the reception, aka thin cheap cloths. My room even though had a stinky and old air conditioning that functioned, there was cold and constant draft from the window and the gap of the door at the floor. It was cold and smelly since people warm up their food on a microwave that was at the floor. A really bad experience. The rude lady with the light hair color that checked me in barely spoke English. She just gave me a paper with all the info on to read. Also while I was in my room at night someone was trying to get in! I am not sure if it was “accidentally” or actually tried to break in. Didn’t feel safe either. Please avoid and stay somewhere else. Really surprised with some of the previous reviews and score they had. Maybe it’s not all genuine.

Loved it. Friendly staff. I forgot the code for the woman's shower spa and a kind staff member let me in each time. Loved the kitchen facilities and the friendly family area. Bath towels, face towels and gowns provided, coffee in the morning free. It didn't bother me at all but it could have been cleaner however they say that they have staffing problems.
