This was my 3th time staying in a hotel in Osaka, and it has been my favorite so far. Exceptionally clean and very nice hotel, professional and helpful staff. Very spacious especially for a central hotel in Japan, the location is perfect next to the trainstation however the area still felt very green, relaxing and quiet for its central location. It's nice to sit in the park next to the hotel in the evenings. Lot's of various foodoptions around the hotel.

I loved the distance of all things surrounding the hotel. We were close enough and far enough from nearby food courts and shopping malls.

Hotel is well-positioned with Osaka railway station within walking distance - good for travelling to/fro airport and other cities. Lots of shopping and food options. Walking distance to Umeda Sky Building. Hotel's green efforts: Daily cleaning of room is not by default but information on tv did explain how it works e.g. if wish to have daily cleaning service, just turn off all options. For Eco-cleaning option, housekeeping staff will not enter room, instead they will hang fresh set of towels and drinking water outside the door. Price is not exactly competitive but expected for Umeda area. Other than that, nil.

Good bed, small room, almost no restaurant just for breakfast witch is good. The best location and penny laundry. The menu of the Restaurante for lunch or dinner is really small. You have plenty of alternatives in station and the mall.

Room control pad offered room control from bedside! The cleaning and room service was excellent. WIFI signal is excellent. Elevators ran efficiently and in a timely manner. Pillows too soft. Only 1 trash can. One suit case rack, need two. Not enough clothes hangers. T.V. in the way of outdoor view.

Gran Respire Osaka is a very good hotel in an excellent location, with rooms offering beautiful views. The hotel also has an excellent spa available for an additional fee The breakfast could be richer considering the overall standard of the hotel.

Excellent hotel, clean and very nice staff. Breakfast was amazing. Although it says it’s near the Osaka station, but it really is a very long walk to get a proper train/subway because the station is really very big.

The hotel is brand new and modern. It’s very pleasant staying here. Breakfast could be improved. We stayed 5 days and it was the same breakfast everyday. Lounge can only be accessed if you book a room with a club lounge access. Check in and check out was easy. Everything is connected by bridges and walking distance to train station and mall. The walking distance to Umeda station is at least 10-15mins walk. Google Maps says it’s only 10 mins (if you know the shortcut). If you come from airport with suitcase, I wouldn’t recommend to take this hotel as it’s quite a walk to get from the train station to the hotel. Better to stay somewhere where it’s only 2-3 mins walk because honestly, after walking a lot in Osaka, the moment you reach Umeda station, to take another 10-15 mins walk back to the hotel is a torture.

Rom and furnishings very comfortable. Check in procedures. Arrived about 1:PM. Check in allowed at 3 PM. Rooms were available but at with a charge. I declined the early check in. At 3 PM a long line to check in that was very slow. Check in was all on screens vs. personnel. Very cumbersome.

Good location close to Metro Station, Umeda, good breakfast I was unable to take breakfast one morning and I asked for a takeout they said they would not do that. They made a big deal when I forgot my hotel key. They had to accompany me to my room for some reason I added on an extra night and they charged extra. And the basic rate.

This was an awesome hotel. Great guest lounge and gym. Super clean room and nice sleek design. Room is a little small but it is urban Japan so it’s to be expected. Getting to and from the hotel can be a little confusing for someone who isn’t used to navigating around Osaka.
