Beds were comfortable and the whole hotel had a very old-European style that was interesting. Location was conveniently near the Osaka JR Line where you can easily board the Haruka line. Quite easily accessible overground from the Osaka JR Line, but a bit of a walk from the the Osaka Subways via the underground route. Room was a little dusty, especially behind the window shutters, and was a little bit small for 2 people with suitcases. Double doors at the entrance was a little bit unpractical. Exterior was also under construction so it was hard to spot.

The room is clean and I love the organic coffee they provide in the room. There are nice, vintage-style photo spots inside the hotel. The hotel is quite old and the room is small for a twin.

Stayed one night and was a great location close to subway. Great price for a big hotel. A bit noisy with subway but not too bad

The staff was difficult, the manager was fine. Location right next to rail tracks. Did not bother me unless window was open.

It was ok. Unfortunately everything around is under construcción. The hotel is also re modeling.

The Front Desk staff were excellent. Especially a young lady who helped me when I had misplaced my passport.

Beautiful hotel with comfortable bed and blankets. Buffet breakfast was good quality. Friendly staff. Room is small with limited cabinets. Would be nice if bathroom has more shelves. No airport pickup or drop-off.

I liked how much bigger the rooms were in comparison to other hotels. I liked the Victorian feel of the hotel. I loved that we were on the 13th floor as it was our favorite number. It was quiet and we did not hear any of the other guests. The staff were amazing and helped me navigate my first trip to Japan and helped me figure out where to go and which bus to get on to take us to the airport. We really wanted a picture with the front of the hotel but unfortunately it was under renovations. The rooms were a little worn down. I think our biggest issue was the renovations. We would have loved to take a picture in front of this beautiful building.

It was close to the train station and was able to get taxi in the front of it. Room was spacious and clean. Wished we had a better view.

It was "okay", but disappointing. See my comments below. I stayed at this hotel in 2018 and was very happy with it then. The breakfast back then was truly impressive. My how things have changed in 2026..............There has clearly been some cost cutting, and the breakfast offering is no where as good. The choice for European breakfast was very poor. The croissants and Danish pasties were very sad, and stale. No bread for toast, and no toaster ! The cost of the breakfast is outrageous. The rooms are "okay", although a little tried. The location beside the station is convenient for travel. I would not stay here again sorry, as I think it is too expensive for what you get.

Good room, everything worked. I am a resident of Japan. I paid with my Mastercard. I wanted to pay in US dollars but there was a huge difference in the currency rate. Instead of about 158 yen per dollar, the rate my credit card uses, hotel said rate was 147 yen per dollar! So I paid in yen, but felt something was wrong with the payment system.
