Hotel Be-zen shimanouchi

Unfortunately the receptionist doesn’t speak English at all

LOCATION IS EXCELLENT! CLEAN ROOM AND CLEAN SHEETS EVERYDAY!! VERY SPACIOUS ROOM, SPACIOUS TOILET, SPACIOUS BED everyday our toilet amenities geta refilled and that they also give new set of towels and pajamas everyday all of the stuff inside the room was well thought of. we regret not using the bath tub though. also they have massager near the front desk with water disoenser and a vending machine that we did not have a view, we have a window but the view is blocked with concrete

Room was good but needed some updates.

Near to downtown

Room was huge and tbe staff were nice. Location was really close to Dohtonbori and there were multiple convenience stores around. The room was quite old, you can see the wear and tear and there was some dirt around the small corners of the room. This used to be a love hotel and that wasn't made clear in the description.

The bed is amazing, clean and big room, switching towels every day and a lot more It’s perfect

The location! The bed was a bit lumpy.

While front-desk service was friendly, it was limited. For instance, they could not assist us in hailing a cab (use Uber by the way - it will include cabs as well).

It was a great location a such as huge room which was such a nice change from the small rooms of Japan. A close walk to dontinburi and amazing restaurants. Was really cheap as well! We were unaware that this was a love hotel. Upon ready the review we released and noticed all the couples in the lobby. This didn’t really bother us however, the location and the cheap price outweight this for us.

While the room size itself was absolutely amazing, the quality of the bed was extremely poor. We could feel every spring and when you moved it was very loud, it felt like a sofa pull out bed.

Amazing hotel and close to a lot of kobinis and markets. Highly recommend!

Clean Bed was absolutely terrible

Did not see any staff during the whole stay so not recommended if you are not independent.

The small wet room with our own little mini onsen was SO perfect and pratically at the footsteps of Donburi and a few minute walk to Kuromon Fish market! The elevator has a mind of it's own.

The bed was really uncomfortable with springs digging into us. To turn on the lights you needed to go to the bedside, so you had to use your phone or the flashlight next to the door every time to get in and out. The AC was loud, needed earplugs to sleep. There was mold in the bathroom (see picture) and it wasn't cleaned properly, there was hair left from the previous guests on the toilet seat. We only got one room key between the two of us, even after asking they couldn't provide a second set. Musty smell and poor ventilation.
