It was walking distant to restaurants and bars. I wish they had espresso coffee in the am

the neighborhood; We were kindly moved to Doutonbori Crystal Hotel III because when we arrived to our original hotel Doutonbori Crystal Hotel- there was HORRIBLE noise from MAJOR construction adjacent. So the review I gave here is for the hotel we were moved to. Staff was very kind to move us!! and I really appreciate that!

During our 4 night stay nobody came to take out the trash. Some coffee machine in lobby would also be apprecciated.

Staff were friendly and also helpful to organise taxis' for us early in the morning of departure. The hotel and our room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was quiet, but still in close proximity to the hub of Dotonbori to experience the lively vibe of the city. We received complimentary bottles of water each day. There were also complimentary bathroom accessories available like toothbrushes, hair brush, razors, etc. Something to be aware of... the price we ended up paying for our stay was a little bit more than what the booking.com price listed. The hotel added an extra 200 JPY for each night... which was only a small amount, but something we weren't aware of and it caught us a little 'off guard' when they presented us with the price to pay on arrival. (We paid in JPY, so there wasn't a 'conversion' rate to consider.) This happened at 2 of the 3 hotels that we booked through Booking.com

Room was quite a great size considering we had stayed in some super small rooms beforehand. Bathroom was also a great size and the location was in walking distance to the Dotonbori area.

Clean, staff friendly No laundry inside the building

The room was totally clean, compact yet well-facilitated. There was an air-purifier. The room cleaning was optional (if you want you have to return the room key to the reception before 11am). The bathtub was pretty big for the size of the room. They provided bath-robes for free at the reception. It was lucky for us to find out that leaving a review online will give us either one free drink or 1hr late check-out. There were many coin laundries and convenience stores within 5 minutes walk. Staffs at the reception was not very good at English sometimes. With a written instruction of hotel rules there was no problem, though. There was only one elevator and no stairs(maybe it's just me who couldn't find another), so we had to wait for 2+minutes whenever going down the building. I confirmed beforehand that our room would have a separate bath and toilet room, but they were not separated actually.

The staff was amazing and friendly. The restroom and wet room had a ton of space and combined, they were almost the same size as the bedroom. The bedroom is a little small, especially for 2 people with 2 full size suitcases but that’s pretty standard for Japan. We made it work.

The location was easy to get to and so close to all of the shops, restaurants, and nightlife. The room was nice and bigger than most others that we stayed in. Staff was friendly and helpful. You only get one key and you have to put it in a slot for power in the room so if one of us left or needed to run out we had to do so without a key so that the person still in the room had light.

Clean, great AC. Comfortable. Away from the noise but close to the fun of Dotombori.

Customer service was good. Japanese workers were really helpful to us with shipping our luggage to our next destination. We like that the shower is separate from the toilet. And the shower is roomier. The pillows were too soft or flat. Found a few hairs in the bathroom shower area.

Great location, clean, friendly and professional staff, big rooms and bed, loved the rain feature in the shower. Nothing, all was great! Thank you
