Really 5star ! Great accommodation, wonderful hosts, delicious breakfast and just the overall touch is exceptional! That we did not spent more time there to enjoy the place - lovely setting!

The owners of the Riverside Guest Lodge go out of their way to make you comfortable. Its a beautiful B&B, very clean and the breakfast was amazing and way too much food. Located on the river with a beautiful deck and easy access to restaurants. This is a total personal thing and probably would not bother anyone else. I am a light sleeper and the HVAC is right next to the right side of the bed in the rooms that we stayed in. The on/off all night long drove me nuts not only for sound but because you have the fan running directly on you. I even had my ear plugs in. I wish they had thought to move the head of the bed to the other side of the room. So I can't give the property a perfect score because I had a lousy night of sleep. Again, totally personal.

Beautiful accomodation, breakfast was fantastic, hosts were very helpful. Great and secure parking. Beds uncomfortable

We really enjoyed the outside deck and breakfast area. The honesty bar is a win. Breakfast was very good and Elza was fabulous as the hostess, alongside Albert who was very helpful. I understand the refurb of a very old house while trying to preserve so much of the heritage, but our room was scattered with mirrors to try and disguise the zero view from the only window. Unfortunately, the hum of aircon condenser units was also heard through the night. Difficult to satisfy all the people all the time. With all the above said, we would return but would request another bedroom.

Everything! Service, helpful owner Elza and Albert, breakfast menu, facilities. They have very authentic and beautiful place. We cannot stop taking pics on each corner. Many bonus on our stay like Albert supporting us when the car rental was broken. Elza provided a freshener drinks on top of it! Their staff even washed our car. Quiet place, bathtub, huge room, water in the evening with snack, welcome drink and chocolate. Super place! Would comeback one day!

Excellent customer service

The property was beautifully located on the river. Our cottage had the largest woodburning fireplace place we have ever seen. Inside the lodge was beautifully decorated with the old cabin. Nothing!

Lovely welcoming hosts. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was spot on & honesty bar & nice touch. They’ve thought of everything! Nothing.

Amazing helpful caring owners Albert and elza . Gave us dining recommendations and sites to visit. After a long dusty day the staff washed our car for our next journey!

The property is gorgeous, very well located. The amount of detail is impressive. What we liked the most was the bed, breakfast and the hospitality of the hosts. Everything was outstanding. Nothing

The v be at was fully equipped and after a long day of driving, it was so nice to have a drink in the wonderful deck watching the sunset. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We really felt taken care of as guests. N/A

Absolutely everything! This is the most charming, attention to detail accommodation we have ever stayed in! The owners have truly created an amazing adults only space - all with their guests comfort in mind. The lodge’s artifacts are so special, some are very old and make the smallest detail so interesting! Think 105 year old key locks on the doors! Some have complained about not allowing children under 12 in the lodge (not their family rooms) and I totally get it. Their lodge, their rules. Plus if a child broke something, I as a parent would be mortified. Thank you Albert and Elza for a wonderful stay! The beds, the quiet, the deck, the honor bar and yummy breakfast all made our stay so special. Many many thanks! Nothing

We booked last minute for one night and Albert and Elza were very welcoming even though we arrived late. The place is incredibly well decorated and you can tell that they put good heart in making sure guests feel comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty and the view from the terrace is beautiful. Thanks again!! /

This place was a great surprise. First of all, the owners are wonderful people. Then, this hotel (more a guest house, with some lodges) is beautifully decorated, and almost entirely made with wood, which makes it very rustic and close to the nature around it. We really loved it, and would have loved to spend one more night to enjoy it a bit longer. It has to be said that this is a different experience from more conventional hotels. While we loved it, there are some aspects that might not be for everyone, like the fact that the lodge can get a bit cold and humid overnight (we went mid April).
