Dante is a wonderful person and great host! Room was well appointed and had a nice view. Windows block traffic noise well. Breakfast was great and terrace lovely. There was no hot water so we couldn’t shower. We understood the boiler had broken and was out of the hotel’s control. We asked the manager for some compensation which seemed reasonable. We were told we had already received a discount on booking.com for Black Friday sale - totally not relevant to the issue of hot water! - and dismissed. Poor management. We were also told there was no parking near the hotel that night and we’d have to walk 15 minutes to park the car at the Orlando garage. We walked in the dark in rain on a very busy and dangerous street with our bags and my two elderly parents. When we arrived Dante (great guy!) told us that often for a one night stay it is fine to leave the car just outside even without a reserved space and was surprised we hadn’t been told that. We felt bad to have walked in such unpleasant conditions due to poor communication from the hotel management. The hotel also needs to advise people NOT to follow the quickest way on Google maps from the parking garage but rather to walk 2 extra minutes to stay in the pedestrian zone. Basic safety information for guests. I shared this feedback with the manager who didn’t seem particularly interested.

We had a smaller room and it was a bit difficult to stow away luggage (not very mucht space). But this was just a minor discomfort.

Beautiful clean hotel, first class and very friendly service, very comfortable and clean room, very well located, delicious breakfast (with daily home baked cake by Dante!) on the roof, and all this at a very affordable price. We even had access to a room with a large table and cups to have a get together as a group. I would highly recommend this place! I loved everything!

Location, friendliness and efficacy of staff. Breakfast on the terrace. The suite was very comfortable. Good bed, good shower. A bit noisy on a Saturday night. There’s a bar underneath the room.

Breakfast was simple but nice. Great location on the room just next to the Porta Nuova. Buffet style with nice coffee. Nothing, everything was fine.

Dante and Loredana were very friendly and extremely helpful throughout our stay. We loved our room, terrace, central location, plentiful and varied breakfasts. We will definitely stay here again!

Location is great way to introduce yourself to the city. Walking into the central city past the Palace and Cathedral is a positive introduction to Palermo. Very good staff support. Good amenities and comfortable bed. Small room. Fine for a night or two for 2 people but wouldn't recommend longer stay.
