Maybe the location? Staff was more or less friendly? Was hot season and there was only a small fan available. As a consequence, the room was super hot and my cousing and I were super sweaty and uncomfortable. Room size is super smal. Very old facilities and in my view, very expensive for what it is.

Check in and check out went smoothly. The WiFi worked. The location was great for what I needed. Half the hotel is being renovated. Which means there is dust everywhere. In the room, no air con, just an old fan. Breakfast room closed. Decor needs updating, carpets in room need replacing. Mould on shower ceiling. I would not call this a two star hotel in it’s current state.

Nothing It was very dirty, smelled like pee, and there was a miscommunication with check out time and all of our luggage were thrown in the lobby.

What did I like..... Well located, beds are good and it was clean. Staff was friendly. That's all. What didn't I like...... Well a lot. First of all we couldn't find the entrance. The hotel is under renovation and the entrance not visible. Inside it was a big mess. Will show you pictures. There are around 35 rooms, only 17 available during renovations. There is no airco, my room was under the roof. But there were 2 fans. They provide no glasses or cups, so bring a bottle or your own cups. No breakfast possible. But a great bakery with coffee etc on the other side of the street. The beds were fine and clean. The bathroom door did not close. The tap was hanging loose. In the room where my sister was the same. The view was horrible. A renovation area. I think it's not fair to rent out rooms under those circumstances. Just close the hotel for a year. For now, just enjoy my pictures.

The staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism and provided excellent assistance. The prime location was a significant advantage, and I believe it was the primary factor that mitigated the impact of the various drawbacks. I recognize that many Parisian hotels do not provide air conditioning and are known for their compact accommodations. Having previously visited Paris, I had anticipated the room size; however, I was surprised by the extremely limited dimensions of the bathroom, which made it challenging to maneuver. This aspect was particularly noteworthy. While I understand the differences between accommodations in the United States and Paris, the bathroom's configuration felt somewhat excessive. Furthermore, ongoing construction on a section of the building was visible from the window. Although this did not significantly disrupt my stay, the view was not ideal. Furthermore, for individuals planning to visit Paris during the summer months, it is highly advisable to confirm the availability of air conditioning in your accommodations. Should air conditioning not be provided, please be aware of the potential for extreme heat, as indoor temperatures can often exceed outdoor temperatures. Personally, for any future summer travel plans, I would prioritize securing a hotel equipped with air conditioning. As that heat was atrocious and affected my whole mood.
