The hotel is basic (as expected) but very clean, comfortable and in a great location close to a metro stop. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay again - good value at a very competitive price. Personally I have no negative comments to make but be aware that the stairs may be a problem for some people.

I did expect more, are i did not see before, that this Hotel, has no lift, no air-condition, no good breakfast I think that this is no Hotel to offer guest of booking.com

Friendly staff, decent clean room. A lively, cosmopolitan area. Le Tais restaurant (recommended by the desk clerk) does a great couscous. Parc de Belleville a nice green space, and Pere Lachaise is nearby if you want to pay tribute to Jim Morrison, Edith Piaf, Chopin or Wilde. Menilmontant Metro a very short walk away. I'd have liked air-con and an elevator, but you don't get those at that price.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. No pillows, they use some kind of rolls made out of bed sheets for pillows. The restroom door is translusid, very uncomfortable even if staying with family. On the other hand the room was always cleaned completely, very grateful for that.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It's very clean, the bed linen has been changed every day. The service was excellent, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and available whenever we needed anything. The location is great as well, with markets, restaurants, cafes and metro station nearby. We would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to stay here again.
