Lobby was very nice, had parking. Dingy, out of the way.

They let me check in at 8:10, rather than the posted 14:00. The breakfast, included in the price, was excellent and unlimited. located outside the route peripherique. Fortunately, 5:00 walk from metro and bus.

The room was clean as were the common areas. The location is just outside of Zone 1 but is quick to get to via the metro, however, the area is in a part of Paris that is run-down. The staff were not very friendly at check-in but warmed up eventually and the hotel is BADLY in need of a update.

The breakfast was quite good. The surrounding area was full of construction and dirty. The subway was also undergoing extension/repair. The area did not feel safe. I made sure to return to the hotel before 10 pm while it was still light.

The hotel was located in not so good area of Paris. Obviously, far from everything. There was no WiFi at the hotel and interestingly the staff were not providing any compensation. There told me that if you are not happy we can cancel your room! Asking for water, they never brought one glass to my room. I had to buy it from downstairs. Also, the phone was broken. You could only receive call not call someone. I wanted to call international number but they told me that I have to leave deposit although they had my credit card number. They did not have iron in the room and they needed deposit for that too! This is the type of service I have never seen anywhere in the world.

The breakfast buffet was fine, some of the staff were very helpful. Room was awful, the area was very seedy.
