A Room In Paris

Everything was fabulous, the host, the room, the breakfast, the location, 2 minute walk to Gare du Nord so percent for our early depart to Amsterdam this morning. Thank you Peet, we’ll be back one day ?

Location is fine. Breakfast was good. Pete is an experienced and friendly host. No fault of the host, but our stay was during the hottest days France has ever recorded and our room was on the sixth floor with small windows and no cross ventilation. 110 degrees in room all night long. Unfortunately oppressive. Pete did not seem concerned for us. Our room did not look like the elegant rooms in the pictures. Had a surprise kitchenette but was modern, not old world—old maid’s quarters. Rey noisy street with near constant police and ambulance sirens at most hours. Also a rooftop party till midnight across from us the second night!

The entire experience with Peet and his facility was wonderful. I cannot say enough good about this place. Peet was absolutely wonderful! The only thing I didn't like was not being able to stay longer! It was pretty hot when we were there, but that we did not fault Peet or his home for this in any way. He did his best to make us as comfortable as possible under the heat.

Great location, Great breakfast ?

Pete the owner is a wonderful person, very accommodating and helpful! His place is beautiful and very well maintained and in a great location. The breakfast was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay here!

A wonderful breakfast that exceeded our expectations, great coffee, all our personal needs catered for. A wonderful host. The beautiful apartment and service made up for everything. The location was a bit noisy with late night activity and sirens and local culture was a mix of good and crazy. But comfy beds and hot showers made up for that. Need to be careful in most of Paris though, is the word on the street. A slightly unnerving presence in the streets, but we had no mishaps and we were strangers to the neighbourhood, not those who resided there.

The location was PERFECT! So close to Gare du Nord and the other metro station, and walking distance from Montmartre and even Le Mairais. Hosts were friendly and easy going , Peet went on holiday so we saw Jean-Pierre for the most part, friendly and flexible. We could leave our luggage and fridge stuff behind after checkout on the day of departure, so kind. Lovely jams and home made cake in the morning. Would definitely chose this place again when we come back. Bring some earplugs if you are a light sleeper as the road is quite busy, even during the night . But if you walked through Paris all day you will sleep like a baby in any case :)

Nice location, great traditional interior and helpfull owner. Breakfasts were fresh and delicious for kids and adults. Comfortable beds.

We admit that we're a little biased. We've stayed with Peet before. This is our favorite place to stay in Paris. He is a most gracious and hospitable host. Peet is always ready to make suggestions for things to do that you may not have thought about. The atmosphere is what you would want in accommodations when staying in the city of light. It is located very conveniently to the Gare du Nord and the numbers 4 and 7 on the always wonderful Metro. N/A

Breakfast was excellent, the location easy to get to but still in a quiet courtyard. The room itself was also lovely, with lots of diverse art.

the host, the breakfast room and breakfast The room - it was awful and not the room that was requested and confirmed. It was small, had a view of the building's carpark. On the walls were the electricity boxes, multiple fuse boxes, Wi-Fi box, and electrical cabling for all the apartment's? The head of the single bed was up against the wall heater. The room was extremely unpleasant . We asked to be moved into the room that we had booked and was told that it wasn't available. We spent 2 nights in this space before we were moved into an larger modern room for the last 3 nights. It was very disappointing.

Peet was an exceptional host in his Parisian home, the location was perfect for travelling to and from London and all attractions were in easy reach. The breakfast was delightful in his dining room where we got to meet other visitors.

It was an excellent palce to stay, lovely host, super good breakfast, safely located and beautifully decorated rooms! We had few extra requests as we arrived early and everything was organized, truly thankful of this as I was travelling with little kids! Could not ask for more, would come back anytime!

Location too everything. Breakfast was delightful ? host was lovely ? Pillows were uncomfortable too flat I think it's a European thing every accommodation had horrible pillows.

Breakfast was very good, Peet explained what was available for breakfast. Good choices. Served in a lovely room at a large table. All guests chatted. The location was good, very accessible to the stations. Everything was fine.

Everything was fantastic! I loved Pete having a seat with us while we had breakfast. We really enjoy his hospitality and conversations. Everything was fantastic
