The location was excellent, very close to Luxembourg Garden and surrounded by good restaurants. There is also a fascinating history of both the building and the hotel. Make sure to ask about this!

No breakfast as they are renovating but the location is awesome. They serviced the room during our 2-night stay. And our room had the best view of Mon Marte in the distance. We enjoyed our stay immensely. No shower curtain so water just goes everywhere.

A nice guy at the reception who let me in a couple of hours earlier than the check-in time. Nice stairs (that's good because the lift is claustrophobic). A fridge in the room. Superb location in the heart of Paris yet on a calm street. Plenty of shops and bars around. The legend of the hotel as the venue where many famous artists dwelled, lured me there. But as to what the hotel offers nowadays, it is a far cry from the days of glory. An unwelcoming labyrinth of corridors, sub-standard room, dirty blankets. uncomfortable beds, no tv-set, no breakfast option, overall degraded place. The facade of the building is a nightmare.

For a couple of days or three days it’s ok Important: no air conditioning. If you go in summer it’s terrible. We were in a Suite for six family members. The air conditioning does not work. Only fans. Fortunately the temperature in Paris dropped from 90 degrees to 70. That saved us! The tub is unsafe. No handles to grab, especially for older people.

There was construction going on all day on my floor. I had to change rooms to get away from the noise

Great location. Bathroom was clean. Room is a bit small but I guess this is normal for hotels in this area. Staff was very helpful and cordial. We loved our stay.

No bag storage before and after check in or out.

So close to food, restaurants and things to see. View from the balcony was a plus . Really enjoyed the view from the top. Could use some non skid mat for the tub when using shower. Very slippery, have to be very careful getting done with shower and out of tub. Otherwise it was a nice stay

Outstanding location (except for families with small kids). Lots of cafes and restaurants. Easy access to all the city has to offer. Nice bathrooms. It's pricey! But that shouldn't be a surprise for this location. There's not much space to move around in the room.
