Naturela Uluwatu

Great location and friendly staff. Basic room. Good AC. Lots of space in the rooms and shelving was good. My room smelled like bleach and was more expensive for what you get.

Value for money for the great location. The male staffs are not that helpful.

When we first checked in, the room had a strong toilet odor, so we requested to be moved. The staff did transfer us to another room, which was cleaner, but it was clearly not fully prepared. The water wasn’t turned on yet, and the sofa bed for the third and fourth guests hadn’t been set up, so housekeeping had to prepare it on the spot. The next day, we were asked to move rooms again due to bookings. We requested to stay since it was just one more night and packing everything again was quite inconvenient, but we understood the situation. However, when we were placed back into a similar room, the bathroom odor was still an issue. This time, it was masked with a very strong fragrance that made us feel dizzy, which was honestly worse. When we raised this, we were told the hotel was fully booked and advised to just turn on the air conditioning. We ended up opening the doors for ventilation instead. Another concern was the shower water, which felt slightly salty, so you don’t really feel fully clean after bathing. That said, the staff were responsive and tried to assist where they could. Still, overall, the stay was uncomfortable and not ideal for our group.

They show a hotel with a nice pool. There is no pool and there was instead a construction zone literally right in front of my doorstep. When I asked the staff about the pool they said "Oh, we announced it on booking, didn't you see?" But I checked the booking listing right after that and it says they have a pool, shows all the photos as normal, and in the "search" option if you search properties with swimming pool they are still advertising it. So, I felt they were dishonest and tricked me. I messaged customer service and received no response, and them ironically received an auto-email after I checked out asking of the response from customer service was helpful. I of course responded that they never answered me, and received no answer to that either.

Not much very, a very disappointing stay. The noise was the biggest issue with construction works going on at the hotel and on the neighboring property. The pool was completely out off service and was a construction site. This is understandable that things need maintaining but never was it mentioned in the back and forth messaging with Naturela. I had requested a motorbike to be reserved for rental, for my arrival this was not done either. Compensation of some free laundry was offers by the management and then when I went down with washing was told that the washing machine was broken.

The receptionist isn't very friendly. The pool is being renovated, and the bathroom, lacking ventilation, was smelly and damp.

Sewage smell in the bathroom and we pay for the pool but it's closed. The stuff are friendly and helpful.

It’s in an area very accessible to anywhere I planned to go in Uluwatu. Bed was comfy and housekeeping comes in to clean it every morning. It has a bidet! Stairs to 2nd were steep and high.

Pool, location and food. Sometimes there was a weird smell coming from bathroom.

Good location, scooter hire, fairly cheap I got there at around 8pm - receptionist ignored me for 5-10 minutes while she had a conversation with a guest. She then checked me in snd took me to my room, which was not cleaned/made, and the door was wide open when she took me there. Didn’t offer me another room and made me sit and wait for 30 minutes while they cleaned it. No fridge in room either.

This place was nice the staff were friendly however one thing was that it’s the only place we’ve stayed in where you have to pay for bottled water as they don’t have a free water fountain facility like we’d been used to. The room was quite dark and smelt quite damp but the bed was comfy

We stayed in a double room (not the bungalow option), and overall, the experience was disappointing. The building was rundown, and the air conditioning was ineffective. The towels were grey and stained, which was off-putting. Housekeeping attempted to clean the rooms at 9:30am, but if we asked them to come back later, they never returned. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the location was convenient—just a 10-min walk to restaurants and bars.
