Hampton Inn Pensacola Beach

Great property. Clean room, Staff was wonderful. Good breakfast. Tiki bar next door, Crabs, was awesome! We'll be back!

The room was beat up from lots of kids using the room and bringing in beach stuff. Walls were scuffed . The bed was fantastic .

We arrived on time. 3 pm. Our room was not ready for another hr and half. They said we'd be called we were not. 3 other families also waited. With one arriving 2 hrs early. Upon arriving in our room. It had not been cleaned. Hair from a shower on the walls . Hair on the toilet. A bug on the floor. We called and our room was cleaned in front of us. With a cleaning staff telling me there was no hug, while stepping on it and kicking it away. I said dont worry I have pics. Also what appeared to be blood on a bed covering. We drove 9hrs to hear the vacuum suck what sounded like the beach off our floor. We paid $400 a night for a well worn outdated stay. We were beachfront...given 1. Voucher for a regular room free stay somewhere and parking waived even though expedia ad said it was free. I would not recommend. It was great location. But terrible accommodation. Some ppl say they are tearing down a rebuilding. Idk. For $1200. I expected more. Or myself and my sister's expected more.

If you want to walk out the back door and be right on the beach, this is a great place to stay.

right off the beach, which was great. The hotel gave us a dirty room when we first checked in after 4pm, the second room we got had some mysterious stains on the chairs, but was at least cleaned. the breakfast is great! parking is $17 per day. UFO’s mini golf being right in front of the hotel was also fun!

My wife and I walked into our room and were hit by the overwhelming smell of mildew/mold, the bathroom smelled of urine and the toilet leaked something brown from under it, the sink would not drain, we tried to roll with the punches since this was our first vacation in 20 years, thinking we are on ground floor surrounded by the ocean. 2 days in we noticed our clothes felt wet and damp. I started looking and found the AC unit was sitting on a 2x4 frame ( untreated) covered in black mold. I thought no way people will believe this, so I took photos of everything, this place had great reviews and the price being over a grand for 3 days we really thought we were staying at a very nice place. So our stay was really disappointing. The staff was great. I have done property inspections for 20 years and I know they make things to avoid health issues from these things. Hell a Dehumidifier? Treated lumber that doesn't mold!!!! Black mold kills people with health issues, this is pure negligence! Very very unhappy. There is more but these are the worst issues we had. I will be paying on this vacation for several months to come, so I feel very taken!

Maria and Destiny went above and beyond to help us solve a change in plans last minute. They understood our time constraints and pre-authorized the change before Expedia was able to connect with them. Very professional.
