Hampton Inn Pensacola Beach

The beach is right out back and we loved our balcony room!

The ac in the room didn’t keep the room cool, even when turned down to 60. The maintenance team came in to repair. We were told that it needed to be replaced. They were supposed to replace it the following morning. They didn’t. They instead brought us a box fan. We were told that the hotel was sold out and could not move us to another room. No bill adjustment, room adjustment, nothing.

Love this hotel, great place and location

Place is ON the beach. We didn't have a vehicle; rideshare available. Walkable area. Breakfast was excellent. Breakfast staff exceptional. Room cleaning okay, every other day. We had to flag the cleaning crew down as they bypassed our room on a cleaning day. Daily Parking charge and incidental charge is held with a credit card. We didn't have a car but front desk charged anyway so we had them remove it. Hotel could use some TLC. Front desk staff friendly. Pet friendly place, so dogs and cats are welcome.

The room was clean and we like staying there. We wish the parking was included in the price and the beach chairs and umbrella.

Exactly what we needed....Is this hotel less fancy, yes. Is the breakfast good, yes! Maria is wonderful and zooming around to make sure that everything is filled and cleaned. Our room was clean, cold, and quiet!!!!

Location, beach, and staff were phenomenal. Only complaint was that the property seemed quite understaffed, especially with regards to housekeeping and by the front desk. The people that were there, however, were top notch and extremely helpful given how busy they were around the clock. Location is phenomenal and Pensacola beach is great! Overall a good trip.

The free breakfast was great! Check in was simple and the staff is friendly. Beautiful views. Clean pools and lobby. Everything was awesome! Highly recommend

Great staff everything was super perfect

Hotel was beachfront and had 3 gates for beachfront access. Hotel lobby was small and crowded. Our room was only cleaned once and we stayed for 3 nights. There was a henna artist that was literally highway robbery for kids. The beach access was small and there were a bunch of left over toys and such everywhere, hotel obviously is short staffed just like any other hospital that It reflects on how the hotel is kept. Our room has a strong musty scent and the shower drain was clogged. There was a little questionable blood stain on the wall, the carpet looks like it’s been there and not cleaned since 1990s. Our kids had fun at the beach but I would not recommend this hotel for the amount of money I paid for it. I had no other option for beach front because everywhere else was booked.

As with all beachside hotels, this one was a bit chipped and worn. BUT the staff were the warmest, kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. The other guests we ran into all day in the elevator or hallways were friendly and respectable. And the breakfast room and all-day coffee station live up to their reputation as fine indeed. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Right on the beach with two pools. Very positive all around.

The property was adjacent to the beach and was easily accessible. The property provides no beach amenities; however, there is a separate company that will rent chairs and umbrellas. Bring your own if you can. Many restaurants and stores are very close by and walkable. However, be prepared to wait, suggest trying to get on their wait-list way ahead of time. The hotel is old and needs updating. TV had to be replaced and the door lock had to be repaired. AC is loud and runs all the time, but did work. Front desk staff need better trained on how to deal with issues and answer questions, but were friendly. Complimentary breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. They shut down at 10:00 and pull everything away promptly. On site bar is very sporadic and limited. The hot water was not readily available and the shower curtain is set too high, so water was on the floor every use. The bed sheets were too small for the king-size beds and had to keep fighting for sheet or reset the fitted sheets. Mattresses were decent, but the pillows were almost nonexistent; very small and not full.

Location is great. Walking distance to many restaurants. Breakfast was great.

Leave. Beach access is great and beach set ups are a little pricey but if you don’t want to haul chairs and umbrella etc it’s worth it. Easy access to crabs and the Dock from the beach. Short walk to other eating places so you don’t have to fight parking which is crazy
