Perfect place to stay on Pensacola Beach…walking distance to all the fun stuff. Staff is amazing! Best bang for your buck by far. Plus the hotel provides amenities that most don’t and they have joined with higher-end hotels for pool use (but the beaches all across the coast are great!). Surf and Sand is by far a great choice if you are on Pensacola Beach to not stay in your room the entire visit. Quiet location too!

There is a metal piece sticking out from the side of the bed that is so dangerous that at night you can easily fall on the side and hurt yourself really bad. The elevator is filthy dirty. In fact the entire building is filthy dirty.. Everything inside the room is rusty, including the bathroom doors and even the toilet paper hanger. There is a dirty misty, smell coming from the room, and also the elevator. The breakfast was really bad and cheap food. You can only eat the waffle and that’s it. All the rest of the stuff is garbage.. we found people staying in this hotel smoking weed. It’s very I paid $650 for two days and that was such a waste because I could have stayed a little further away from the beach in a much nicer hotel instead of staying at this motel and paying such a heavy price. They charge you for parking also. If you’re looking to stay at a nice place, please save yourself and don’t compare because you can find much better hotels elsewhere for that price point.

Loved the area! Staff very helpful and attentive! Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom needed a little TLC. Overall I would recommend staying with them!

Great place to stay, with kids especially. Location is right across the street from public access Pensacola beach directly at the pier! Maybe could use a bit of love and care with the actual concrete on each level. The paint is peeling horribly in many places. Enough to trip you, especially small children. It is dog friendly too, so no one would want their dog to chew on chunks of paint. Regardless, the lobby was well maintained and the breakfast was abundant! Will definitely come back.

This is our favorite place to stay on the island and we are locals who have stayed all over it. It just perfect, let friendly, has everything you need including breakfast. A great pool, a private beach, paddle boards, bikes - The best!!

Cute renovations for a small motel. The swimming and beach area are super tiny. The breakfast was good and super cool that they have kayaks for the guests to use.

Beach at the bay was perfect, staff was great Our specific room had some issues with bathroom door falling apart due to moisture, sink pipes separated and leaked everywhere but maintenance was in our room quickly to fix the leak

Elizabeth who serves breakfast is the best 👏, the reception staff are very unfriendly, the room was very clean but the pool is tiny and doesn’t open until 9:00 a.m.

I liked the location, walk to everything, I liked having the option to use bikes, paddle boards and kayaks. Bikes were fun, the weather didn't allow for the others. The pool and fire pit area were good, Elizabet was great at breakfast, super friendly, and really kind. Kelly at the front desk was super friendly. The maintenance workers were prompt at coming to fix the sink and bring fresh linens for the beds. While the common areas were clean and nice, the cleanliness of the room was sub-par, especially considering the price. The sink started leaking, quickly fixes. There was dirt on the walls, the linens were blood stained and stained from maybe drinks or something. The guest laundry took forever and the dryers still didnt dry my clothes after being in for almost 2 hrs. I ended taking them to the laundromat down the the street. (I did get some of the money spent back). While Elizabet was great, the breakfast was a let down.
