Dolphin Tavern

Perfect location for overnight stay ahead of taking the Scillonian ferry to Scilly Isles. We stayed last year and were so happy we repeated the experience without being disappointed in any way. Staff and management only too pleased to help. We did not have dinner here this time but breakfast the next morning was perfect. We plan to return next year !! Nothing to dislike

All staff were very friendly knowledgable and helpful. A special mention for waitress Chloe who was bubbly and helpful , Joe the manager who went above and beyond to help us embark the boat to Scilly and Claire the helpful cleaner

Convenient location for what we wanted to do Parking was a bit of an issue especially due to current roadworks in Penzance

Perfect location if you are taking the Scillonian. Also easy to access town and shops on foot. Nice view of the ocean from our room.

There are only 3 rooms. Very quiet. The room was very clean and the bathroom was newly remodeled. Paris, the host was excellent. Greeted us warmly and showed us to our room. The breakfast was made to order and excellent. We also had our evening meal and it was very good. They stored our luggage safely during the day. It is 50m from the Jubilee Pool. Nothing

Loved this historical place! Our room & bath were large & updated. Located just feet from the ocean, the view from our window was lovely. Best of all was the food & decor in the pup! Parking was a bit of a challenge.

We enjoyed it all.

The staff was wonderful to me and allowed me to store my bags and make dinner reservations. The room was very clean At first I didn’t know to check in at the bar.

The staff were so friendly and the room was amazing, really clean and bright and so quiet. The food was delicious and served on hot plates! The location was perfect for the Scillonian to and from The Isles of Scilly. There wasn’t anything that wasn’t good about this property.

Excellent inn , the staff could have been better Jo behind the bar and richard at breakfast along with all the Girls could do enough for you. Food was excellent ,varied and interesting, thank you to all for a great stay ! The only thing I think could be improved was the chips !! everything else ,Mussels ,Squid ,Sizzler,Catch of the day In fact everything else was so good they didnt really match up. But hey it could just be me !!!

The Dolphin Tavern was an excellent stay! The host was attentive and helpful. The food at the tavern was delicious, both for breakfast and dinner. no complaints

Excellent friendly staff. We arrived late yet nothing was a problem for these folks. And so handy for the Scillonian, and a short walk to the station.
