Motel 6 Phoenix North - Bell Road

I dont even want to give it a star. Maybe 1/2 of a star.. I will start off by when I checked in, they gave me a room key to a room that already being occupied. I mean how unprofessional can it get.. (gets worse) after I went back down with all my luggage and had to tell them I opened the door to some man laying there in shorts eating doritos so they gave me another room where the air conditioner wasn't working. Now let me state for the record that we are in Phoenix,AZ in August it's 110 on a normal summer day and no AC I dealt with it that night. Next day I told maintenance and he acted like it wasn't his problem and he had no intention of going to even look at it. So I requested another room at front desk and the general manager said she didn't have a room ( there were plenty of rooms) needles to say I had to stay in that hot room another night. Day 3 I told her I wanted another room.. that day she put me in another room. And guess what? No air conditioning either. I could go down and asked for another room so I slept in that hot box that night.. day 4 I demanded another room. One that they new the AC worked. She finally put me in 1 late that'd. The air worked. I mention to they lady I wanted to pay some I ne some money to clean up my previous room I was in.. she blew up at me saying " you paid someone to clean your room? You let a squatter in your room? " i didn't pay someone i was going to offer to pay someone to clean it.. she told me to check out and I want allowed back.

I recently lost a friend here and due to the nature of my friends passing, allegedly. They decided I no longer need a roof over my head and kicked me out. I was given any chance to have a conversation with anyone or anything to discuss possibly options that allow me to stay and not be put on the streets after finding my friend like n I did. They have no idea what it did to me to have lost so much in a way that was completely out of my control. So I am hurt by the treatment I received and hope they see from a perspective outside of their own. I really wish I had better things to say. I used to.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS DUMP AND THEREBY PAYING THE WAGES OF AN INEPT AND USELSS. STAFF. There is no a/c. A homeless shelter would be a better option and the staff of a homeless shelter would be more helpful. My room was sweltering and the woman in India on the front kiosk was no help at all. The security guard was sitting in the air conditioned office with a fan blowing on him even. But no one was able to help me. The manager offered me a partial refund in the morning which was 17 dollars. That is what their concern over guest satisfaction amounted to. Less than a 25% refund. Everyone involved - the kiosk woman, the security guard and the manager were all in air conditioned comfort yet the paying guest without a/c was granted 17$ refund for a night in hell. So again DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME ON THIS DUMP AND THEREBY PAYING THE WAGES OF A USLESS AND INEPT STAFF.

I always meet the nicest people here. I only have good things to say about that but they need to fix the air conditioning

Being upstairs versus being located downstairs. The AC wasn't working, the television or the room telephone was not working when I went to inform the front office of the conditions all the young man said he was sorry and maintenance was not on staff at the time. I had to go purchase a stand up fan for my stay.

Clean rooms, the ac is janky. It's not like other motels. And it's not cold

The AC didn’t work. There was only 3 pillows. 1 on 1 bed and two on one bed. The bathroom door was off the hinges, there was no phone in the room. It was horrible.

My albums were really decent bugs were at a minimum. The staff was very pleasant parking was plentiful and I love that pet stay for free and they also have a clean swim pool, which is a huge bus and it's gated they also have laundry so I appreciate that as well. With proper security so and they're very helpful as well.Can you ask them for help for anything in there very attentive?And they're very conservative

The whole staff There is one man that wears a tie that works in office I have walked up and said HI two times and waved 2 times he totally ignores me no response and he has no hearing aids to turn up . I made myself visible to him . HE THINKS HE IS BETTER THEN THE ONES WHO SUPPORT HIM
